Elf equipment questions

So today, I thought of what equipment could work for my Elf. I don't need skill advice, as I know what I'm going to get after r1 wm. I also don't need weapon advice too much, though I think as far as an ego goes, I'll just get him a Highlander Bow and treat that as a semi ego. I currently have a Bone Marine armor set, only missing one part of it that he was going to use (The armor itself is 4/3 btw). Now, I was going to get some Burst enchant and get explosion resistance on that as well, but seeing radio and her crazy clothing set as well as hearing so many things about it is tempting me.

My question is, should I stick with a Light armor set up for my Elf or should I go with a clothing set up?

Clothing with upgrades for defense or something, then use Lilly Accessories.

Clothing is best but Light Armor works if you don't have as much money to spend.

I should have been more specific I guess. What I was really wanting was a comparison of a Light Armor enchanted set up and a clothing armor enchanted set up. Sorry I didn't mention that at first.

Well, Extraordinary White Horse + 2x Oblivion Lily Accs vs Ancient Darkness + 1x Oblivion Lily Acc.

Former:

14 Max 20 Luck
20 Max -20 Luck 30 dex
Overall 46 Max

Latter:

27 Max 20 Luck
10 Max -10 Luck +15 dex
Overall 43 Max 2 Crit

Correct me if I'm wrong? D:

Clothing is always best for every stat gain you would wish to specialize in, with the exception of defense (unless there's some hax defense accessory enchants I'm not aware of).

You can make Victorious Glass Fragment Premium newbie wear for free or very cheap, then pair it with Light Gemini accessories (Light is common from Rundal HM and Gemini are inexpensive) and you already have 31 max damage and +3 critical from just Clothes and Accessories for A LOT less than any decent Darkness armor.

When you have enough money to upgrade, consider replacing Victorious for Extraordinary (300k), Gemini for Lilly (800k~1.5m ea) and Glass Fragment for White Horse (cost is your sanity depending on how much you are willing to run ciar, lol) for an extra +7 max damage and +6% critical.

A nice thing about Extraordinary is that you can use it to bridge Restored later on (+17% crit, +5 max, +5 min) and once you have that you will never worry about crit again 8D

You can replace Oblivion with Precise (almost the same in terms of average damage since raw Dexterity gives Min) and keep the crit with clothes setup.

Don't forget that Oblivion can also go on clothing so if you're going for pure max damage then Extraordinary shouldn't even be mentioned... and you can just go for a crit+dmg build, replacing Extraordinary or Oblivion for Restored (+18% critical and -2 max damage over Extraordinary and +20% critical and -5 max damage over Oblivion).

In my opinion, light armor isn't worth it at all as an Elf singe g12 and was just made more redundant with the release of g13. Light armor build is still great on Hybrid human, though.

Goodness.....Yay for fashionogi people? Guess I'll go with clothing then, though I just need to try to find some clothing that will resemble Link's tunic (Elf is named Windherolink, so yeah).

Lol, yea... Glass Fragment in particular makes clothing setup a lot more accessible since not everyone was able to buy a White Horse code or lucky enough to get it from Ciar.

If I knew better at the time, though, my Restored White Horse would be on a Premium Newbie Wear or a high dura fashionogi dress instead of an Archeress School Uniform... but hey at least it's only 2 gold to repair.
