A bit too much reliance on RA don't you think?
And whoever came up with the bright idea that only an RA can help you. Why can't it just be anyone???

G11 is the ONLY gen which made me give up for like a couple of months it was just too hard :D
All the others I finished in a matter of days.
That difficulty jump is just INSANE (in hard mode at least).
I agree... Especially if someone JUST ended up 1k total.

Yeah, the difficulty jump from Adv to Hardmode is enormous. You can go from 3 shotting a Hardmode Shadow lancer with r1 smash or so doing 700 damag each to taking 6 smashes to kill that thing. I still have yet to finish g11, mostly because I want more crit so I can crit smash the HM stuff. I'm pretty sure that I COULD finish it right now, but crit smashes would make stuff so much easier, especially since I plan to solo it all.

I know how you feel. I hit 1k like right before g11. At that time, I was pretty noob in my skill choices and ranked random skills, making me overall weak. So I had to wait a few months til I finally finished it. Ended up completing right before g12 came out. Then I turn around and beat g12 in a few days.

G11 Final isn't too bad if you finish off the boss quick.
I did it as a mage with cc firebolt.
I timed it so i could use 2 trans consecutively and killed it.
Personally i find g12 Final harder when your party messed up the aggro.

G12 final is nothing you should be worried about. Just be careful with the Aobhnars during the first portion. They can kill you quickly if you don't get them first.
In regards to G11, it wasn't any different or any more difficult than anything else I'd experienced. If you can deal with multi-aggro decently then it shouldn't really be an issue. And yes, this was Hard difficulty.
But for the final, Luci did everything for me. :awesome:

I thought G12 final was solo?
On-topic: Here's how I'd rate the various parts of G12 final: Aobhnar > Phase 1 > Phase 2 > Phase 3.
The Aobhnar part has very little room for error, especially if you're a giant. The hardest part of the Nuadha encounter is phase 1, primarily because you're on edge waiting for the man to cast a specific skill. If you're lagging, you might be unfortunate enough to get caught in Fury if you're too close when he casts it. After that, commence the facerolling of his minions and--eventually--Nuadha himself. Demigod makes that battle significantly easier, primarily because Wings of Eclipse erases almost all possibility of death. The rest is just proper usage of Brionac and/or Shadow Spirit. HM is only a change in numbers, not tactics. Although I really would not like to meet an HM Aobhnar. *shudders at the health bar and having to fire counter it to death*

Actually numbers can very well change tactics.
For int/adv, windmill spamming (excluding golem windmill, where it's always viable) would be much more viable. How much damage the monsters deal does matter too. Could mean the difference between getting killed in 1 combo or not.
There's a reason why windmill was universally regarded as overpowered, whereas now only golem windmill is considered to be OP. The main/only difference between now and then is that mobs have increased in HP/DEF/Prot.

The Aonbharr are the only real threat in g12 final unless you get a hyper aggro Nuadha that never lands/spams fury of light.

Someone could just as easily do something like Brionac and Spear of Light spam that they got from the previous generation for the Aonbarrs.

I'm still stuck on G10, due to my Enourmas lag in tara and when i do the mission, the mobs still rhape me (although now that i've ranked up more, they rhape me LESS now! Woohoo!)

This is true, unless you're the type who wants to hold off on using any Demi skills outside of finals (when they're free) until they're r1.
