Wondering if fishing equipment (Adonis set) works

  I have my hands on one female set and we're also looking at getting the male set once the price is reasonable. We're not intending on activating the stamina reduction, only the fishing.
  
  There has been one thing that has been bugging me for a while. Why is it that the market is being crazy on stamina reduction and fishing reduction?
  I really don't understand why a high stat stamina reduction and a high stat fishing reduction clothing item is worth more than a low stat stamina reduction and high stat fishing reduction. I find it ridiculous. Example: 0 3 Adonis Male costs 800k while 3 3 Adonis Male costs 3 Million.
  
  Could there be a possible glitch on activated effects? However, the effects do show on my female set. Just that I haven't tested what it really does yet.
  
  Also, to people who have Adonis fishing effect set, does it work for you?
  
  (We observed someone with Rank F fishing with the set but are of the opinion that it does not really work that well for Rank F...while I have this gut feeling that the set works with a better fishing rank...)

  I don't know about the actual value difference, but if I was going to get the fishing bonus I would want the stamina bonus active as well. Then I could enchant it for actual usage and get stamina reduction, as well as use it for fishing.

  Played around a bit with it a few weeks ago. It seemed like I got items at a dramatically faster rate than normal (at fishing boat, rank 5 fishing). Usually I can afk for a good hour or 2 without my inventory filling all the way, but with this I had to clear every 30-45 minutes. Then again, I could have just been having a lucky streak. *shrug*

  I still find it pretty weird. For someone like me who deals with alchemy and choose either warrior/alchemist for future hope I have like 400+ stamina. Very easy to get 450 stamina as alchemist after leveling. I have no fear of stamina whatever the equips are. So that 10% doesn't really matter for me. After all, I'm going to use the set for fishing and not for battle.

  Actually stam reduction set is -20% sp use.
  
  If you're going to be fishing with your main, then I'd try to shoot for both effects, just because it sounds convenient.
  But yikes, the sets are hella expensive on your server.
  
  I can't remember where Adonis set comes from outside of the event, either... I should really bookmark that thread that talks about it >.>

  As for the effect working, I'll just say it does.
  Though 10% extra chance on such a random function would be hard to test for.

  If you get an adonis set for the fishing enhancement, I still hope you can get the SP use reduction active too. xD

  Yes, the yydzh one but it's not updated yet. Takes time.
  As of now the only information about the male hat is that it is event-only. Since we had a 4 roll on the hat, and could not sell it, we thought it would be best to make a complete set with it.
  
  For gathering, the 400 stamina is quite nice as it is. I don't really need stamina reduction set to be honest. Too expensive. Transformation helps as well.
  
  My personal set is only fishing activated, but I'm happy enough with it. I don't need the bracelet either, which is really good for me since I like to have that G3 amulet on.

  You should keep it and sell later when someone is collecting them. These things will only get more expensive because the field bosses don't appear and don't drop them all the time.

  Thanks for the information that helped in our buying decision. We tested fishing set and it does really work. Seems that the bites are more frequent as well. For 2 hours, I used 130 baits. The other time when I fished (and it wasn't a Monday or Wednesday) I used about 70-80 baits.

  I collected only 2 sets of data previously so it might not be too accurate.
  
  Set 1 : R7 fishing. 300 bait. No Adonis bonus. 65% auto fishing success rate.
  Set 2 : R6 fishing. 300 bait. Yes Adonis bonus. 71% auto fishing success rate.
  
  Most likely it's not enough information but just from that trial, the Adonis doesn't do (x + 10)% to your fishing rate.
