So I'm lost at if I should continue Alchemy, as it took a lot of AP already, and I think I may be able to do well if I ranked other skills instead.
Noticeable Skills (In comparison with my other Alchemy skills XD) in Alchemy
Life Drain: rA
Water Cannon: r9
Barrier Spikes: r9
EDIT: All other Alchemy Skills are at very low ranks.
I know I have a lot to go, but would it be beneficial if I finished other skills first? For example, I've yet to completely master the Combat Tab (Counterattack, Charge, Weapon Masteries, Assault Slash).
I'll probably get to Alchemy sooner or later, but I figured I should "master" a skill tab early on or something.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Additional Info: I'm a Hybrid, but my range or magic are not really "top notch". It's still good enough to use all three (Melee, Magic, and range) interchangeably.

Rank 1 Flame Burst with Rank 1 Fire Mastery (as long as you have rank 1 crit) and upgraded Volcano Cylinder (Fire Upgrade then Red Upgrade) can hit for over 1k dmg if it crits per hit. I was doing Alby Advance and killing off Spider Soldiers in one burst of flame burst.

You might want summon golem. It has not disappointed me so far. The other alchemy skills like flame burst to me are pretty disappointing at the end.

For the record, for the Volcano Cylinder, Blue upgrades are known to be superior.

What I'm asking is should I continue with Alchemy? I'm not really planning to have Alchemy as my end game, I just got Life Drain since it was really convenient after windmill (it can be loaded in windmill), but I noticed that Alchemy takes up a SIGNIFICANT amount of AP that I can spend on other skills for greater efficiency

Assault slash, to be honest I don't find it necessary. Sword Mastery is definitely a must.
Focus on getting one skill branch to be good first before going into another.
Sacrifices have to be made because you will not have enough AP for everything.

Barrier spikes to rank 5, so you cna shoot over them. Other than that, I'd suggest focusing on one of the areas you are currently hybrid in, and only work on things like alchemy after you have built up a stronger basis in your main area. Being a hybrid doesn't mean you have to split everything evenly.

Chichi~ do what kenero said and max out flame burst then max water and then do barrier spikes
rank alchemy mastery after your done with fire/water
For the vol cylinder upgrades.... i think you should make two, S type and R type
S whould work good in basic-adv missions while the R will do grate in HM missions!
and windblast/wind mastery too! it helps <3

That may be, but in mari, blue stones are 2~3x the price to buy. Besides once we get the conversion stone, it will be cheaper to get +3 red then switch to blue.

Already ahead of most in that department. :D
