If you see online, the Evie Temptress set can be worn in two ways
One way has the player wearing the set with dark color stockings
The other way has the player wearing the set without stockings, exposing the legs.
What exactly is the difference between the two and how can they be achieved? I'm extremely confused since there seems to be no difference in set composition.

I believe they are the different Inner Armor options.

The latter case is probably just with the lower armor unequipped.
@Andy-Buddy Judging from the preview armor screen in the Avatar shop, the lower part covers up the legs, as well as any stockings you may be wearing, while the boots don't cover the legs at all.

Maybe the stocking'd Temptress set is really just the set with that tube-top/stocking inner armor equipped?

@jimmyjxia
Could you link us to the images you're talking about? It's possible you haven't seen the complete set.
The complete Temptress set includes it's own sort of stockings (over top of any which may be included in your inner armor).

In this second image it appears that the bottom is simply unequipped while wearing the inner mentioned by TheBoulder:

What I found was that my Evie would appear with bare legs. The top and bottom of the set form together to make a "one-piece". The stockings that appear to be a form of inner armor.
@whocares The lower part of the armor is actually worn in both of the pictures that you provided. Without the lower part of the armor, the second picture would not have the two belt buckles dangling down or even have the skirt below her undies area.
Images that I have found which contain the full set but without stockings

Images that i have found with contain the full set WITH stockings

EDIT!: I have confirmed that the stockings are just an inner armor option

In there you can see two evies going on a naked run. The stockings appear on one of the evies.

While I'll agree that the first 2 links you provide show Evies without a "stocking" inner, I'm still doubtful about it being the complete set. I've seen the Temptress set many times in the Avatar shop, and with several different inners selected, there are always stockings shown over-top of whatever inner armor I select. In other words, it's impossible to see bare legs with the complete set in the Avatar Shop, regardless of what inner you might be previewing.
There are many cases (the Broken Ash set in particular) which show that a "top" can hang down below the waist. In fact, depending on what is equipped, the top can be clipped at the waist, or continue to hang down over the lower armor. Until I see an image of just the bottom skirt (without a top), I'll continue to believe the skirt comes from the top.
edit:
@jimmyjxia
All the things I've seen show the temptation set as having 5 parts (1 part composed of earrings). However, looking at the models themselves, apparently there will be more than one way to wear the set.
The normal top and bottom I've seen the icons for is strictly 2 separate pieces (good luck getting the colors to match, if they in fact are 2 different armor pieces in the game), with the lower containing the belt buckle and skirt. However there are 2 other models included as well: one which appropriately is named "onepiece", is the entire "dress" (without a buckle), the other is named "stocking_lower" and is simply the stockings (visible in the first pic I posted, and the last two of your links). The onepiece dress appears to clip itself appropriately when paired with some type of pants (and becomes much like the normal top).
It seems to me, that unless there is a buckle or stockings present, there is a piece left unequipped intentionally.
In the Avatar shop, the preview shows the one-piece option with the stockings. I'm not sure at this point how the actually items exist, or how this effects the set bonuses.

I've actually been so curious as to replace my broken ash files with temptress files.
What I found was that the top would be cut off right at the waist, making an awkward looking design. When you add the bottom, it becomes the onepiece. When you unequip the top, the lower shows the belt buckle.
I guess we'll have to wait for a level 56 to try this out and tell us how it works.

Haha I'm not allowed to talk about that here. I'm familiar with the source engine so it was pretty simple. It's technically "modding" but with no actual benefits except vanity.
The armor has multiple models, including a normal version and a broken version. You have to make sure to replace both or else when your armor breaks, it'll show the original armor's broken model.
I'm not allowed to go too in dept. If you really want to know more, message me.

You unlock the recipe around lv 56 or so, after you finish the battle "Fight that must be won". It's the story after Hoarfrost Depths.

The vindictus website says it came with the new boat/udate.
But I haven't seen anyone with it or heard about it yet, and there's also the issue of acquiring materials which I haven't found a way to get either.
Link:

It's at the bottom of the new armors list.

I have the set, the stocking is indeed inner armor. Also, the color of the bottom conforms to the color of the top, meaning if you have white bottom and pink top, once you wear the two together, your whole set will be uniformly pink. Have to thank nexon for this one, would have drove me nuts trying to dye the stripes the same color...

anyone have a level 56 evie?
I'm a little confused at why the website says temptress set is out if it isn't out
