Quote from Nexon:
Are you ready? The next Mabinogi Update will introduce all sorts of great features to Mabinogi!
Here’s some of what you can look forward to.
Combo Card System
The Combo Card system is a preset group of skills that you can “attach†to your characters. While in combat, you’re free to fight however you like. If you follow the list of skills detailed on your Combo Card though, you’ll gain a significant bonus to that set of specific skills. Not only does combat become more interesting, you can use this to make your character much more powerful!
In the example below, the player would start out using the Blaze skill. If, after using Blaze, the player decides to charge Fireball, he or she would get a 9% damage bonus to the Fireball skill. After using fireball, if the player chooses to continue the combo, he or she can charge Firebolt, which will receive a 15% damage bonus.

The skills that appear in normal combo cards are random, so sometimes you’ll find a great combo card where the skills sync up nicely. Other times, the combos required are too complex to pull off when you can dispatch your opponents by other means.
Combo Cards can be obtained from Shadow Missions (advanced or higher) and hard mode dungeons.
Depending on the card you get, you can have up to six different actions on a Combo Card.
Some cards will be rarer than others. There will also be cards with combos that are less effective than others. You’ll have to use strategy to choose whether to use them to level an individual skill faster or go with a more powerful combo.
Gold Combo Cards though, are guarantee to be very good and are considered rare drops.
Combo Cards last for 30 days.
Gold Combo Cards last 10 days.
Can you use your Combo Cards to alter your current fighting style and become even more powerful? Take up the challenge in the next Mabinogi update!
Bow Mastery and Crossbow Mastery
Hey, Rangers! The long-awaited Bow Mastery and Crossbow Mastery for the Ranger Destiny are now within reach! Get ready to blast your enemies with even more power than before!

Unless they're rare, you can definitely obtain one every month, no?
And awesome.
Say goodbye to the option of choosing different rafting rewards tho.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about the bow masteries yet.
I hope a get a smash > firebolt > charge > smash > assualt slash card
I highly doubt it xD

Love how their example of how Combo Cards works is one of the ones that is extremely difficult, if not impossible to pull off, thanks to Fireball's 15-25second casting time~

Seems kind of pointless.
You spend time looking for one you like, that not only suits your combat style but that has good skill chains and boosts. Being that it's random that must be pretty hard, unless you're very lucky. That by itself isn't a problem, but then they expire after a month, so every month you have to have that luck.
No thanks.

Imagine if you get a Gold Combo Card and it's this...
Tailoring -> Fireball -> Crash Shot
Or this...
Blacksmith -> Dance 3 -> Fireball

At least it's not another patented Nexon's get-rich-quick schemes.
Fireball, Final hit, evasion, rest, ice spear.

No mention of dragons yet... This is S2 right?

I'm more excited about the Ranged Masteries and Destiny than I am about the Combo cards.
And I'm not going to have anything to do with the Range Masteries/Destiny any time soon.
I wonder if I'll get an interesting Combo, though...

I hope they hold off releasing g14 for another couple months, there's too many skills to rank already x.x

G14 consists of Lance skills and lots of uncaps. That's pretty much all skill-wise.

Exactly! That's why I said that!
Lance mastery alone is over 400 ap! And there's strength in there skills! Lame...
I'm still trying to rank rest, first aid and defense asap and I can't keep up my ap for those skills either .-.

So.. the only thing we get from Combo cards is a boost? Seems kind of useless.
