  Cello Silke pens under the brand Cello Smooth are amazing. They may look like ordinary pens, but you can tell they aren't when you use them. These pens write so smoothly!

  The Papermate Profile pens write pretty smoothly as well. However, I prefer the Cello ones.

  I find these all over the place and have been using them since elementary or middle school. Free pencils FTW, right?

  I just use whatever is around me. o.o I don't have a preference-no I lie. I have to say if I HAVE to use a pencil it has to be mechanical.

  These are so awesome, I like having a sharp point all the time.
  
  And I also use grade F lead with it. So I can tell people it doesn't work on scantrons.

  Ticonderoga pencils are great. My Mom used to buy them all the time when I was younger and they were always great quality.

  I rarely use normal pencils these days. It's all about those mechanicals ones. BIC is a good brand for those.

  Also, I tend to prefer #2 pencils, 0.7mm lead mechanical pencils and medium-point pens.
  
  Anything less than #2 is too light to read, 0.5mm lead pencils break too often and fine-point pens don't write as thick.

  Champ pencils break on me too often. I think I just have bad luck with them or don't store them properly. Anything with the small metal tip like that tends to stop working on me faster than the other ones.

  I had a blue and a red one, but I let someone borrow the blue one, along with an eraser, and I never saw either of them again.
  
  For led, though, always pentel. The pencil doesn't matter to me as much as long as it's comfortable, sturdy, and can hold that lead.
