well for the elves and giants, when you warp to uladh it warps you to the last town you visited...., I wish it worked the same way for humans, -.-
What? No it doesn't.

It does until you go to dunbarton. Then it gets stuck there.

Not really, just go to channel 5 or something. On topic, is tara kind of just a clone of tal or something? Are there any reasons I should go to Tara, apart from jousting?

Not really, no.
Think Emain, just 3-4 times the size, less water, prettier architecture?

Well, it makes sense why Dunby is the most crowded town. All human cont warps from iria lead there, from Dun, you can go a one way path to almost every other town so if on foot, one person traveling from a town that's not Dun to another town, you're gonna end up on Dun on a lot of those trips.

Tara is like Emain Macha like others have said. But with a Shadow Mission board and a more huge street-ed city. Besides jousting, Tara would only be good for Shadow Missions, Auction House and taming stray kittens and puppies for the hell of it (I know I will). Basically nothing really good.

You forgot the biggest attraction; getting your portrait done so you can give them to people.

That too. But I'd find it funny if the sketch's came out like how we sketch statues in exploration. (*Never seen how the portraits look*)

How big are we talking exactly and what's the lag like? My comp can barely handle Tailteann with decent framerate (too many blasted trees) and the lag causes a lot of the deaths I experience in the shadow realm. If it's worse, I'd have to start playing from my new desktop, which I have reserved for schoolwork :<
Also, are puppies and kittens surprisingly strong, like otters? Might be useful for shadow missions, or just random EvG pvp lul

I wouldn't really know how much lag. I never lag in towns due to their trees and such (not knowledgeable in lag). Tara's big enough for Mabi to call it "the biggest town in Uladh" but the overall map of Tara doesn't seem as big as Tail. (I could always be wrong of course, 70% of the time I am). For the puppies and kittens, I don't know. I just remember reading taming them would be a part in G10 Mainstream so I assume they're tamable, how strong? I don't know lol.

You will lag if you have an old comp. Tara is BIG, there's lots of things going on screen (walking npcs, cats, dogs, scenery, regular npcs).

Been there, seen that.
This applies to maybe half the server population. I've seen all kinds of newbies/low-level characters running around Tara for a good long while, and there HAVE been screenshots.
Again, I wish Nexon would stop treating Tara (and G10 in general) like it's the next big thing when it's incredibly OLD news for most people who care.

I'm excited nonetheless.
