It's pretty good for your first video. But you could try hiding the cursors of people or so. Just mke them all join a party or something, and use the map to navigate. Since they're standing in front of each other and stuff, you can use the party numbers to get into the right position and distance as well. Then afterwards, just cut out the right side of it. I've seen one of Sony Vegas video editting program effects in there at the beginning, if you use that, perhaps use that and crop the screen so the map won't show. Also maybe put some sort of border around the whole film, and on some of the film if you want, and some of grayscale and color effect onto it somewhat, kind of like my signature's tones a little. That makes the "Our Story" title make it seem like older book colors, being that tone of color.
Also, there were a few little sub-title errors in it. "San Meg is supposed to be Sen Mag", and just one space key probably didn't type correctly. Try looking over your work and checking for any errors or something, so they don't pop up again. If you do use Sony Vegas or have someone who can do it for you, make small borders around the subtitles, kind of like a casing like anime subs. Sony Vegas should be able to let you do that. If you don't have the program, just get a free trial version of it, since the full version costs a lot.
The storyline and music overall is very intruiging, I like it. The music adds more of an effect to the situation it is, continue doing that.

Ah Ryo, I thought about adding glowing effects to the text, but I couldn't decide on a color that wouldn't blind people (Maybe a soft yellow or something... Or a green...) and we were running late on the episode deadline and all the text had already been put in so I would have had to go through all the clips to edit it.
And thank you for the map idea : O We were actually in a party together.
As for adding the film over the video, I feel that would be distracting. The title of the series is called "Our Story" but it's not suppose to be an old story. It's suppose to be a story being written.
Also, I use Sony Vegas.

I'm not implying that it's an old story, it makes it seem like a book, and it matches the title more. I don't know, it's just a random thought. And the wrapping for the text could be a color that matches the text, even a gray would work just as well, since it is not blinding, and makes the text easier to see, if you ever have to film a clip where the whole place is white, such as Falias or something.
But I like the creativity of your story, it makes it seem real with all the music. Keep using music for things, it makes it very effective to portray the situtation's type of emotion.
Oh, and I don't know if you want glow effect or anything on it, with the change on the Mabinogi settings options, but it makes the game look prettier to me. Especially in scenes like Emain, with the glow and the reflection of the water, it's very beautiful.

I hope you make them come with Holy Waters if they have to get eaten.
Traumatize them at near the end of your series, or they'll get revenge on you. D:
Shh, they might hear your plans.

Not to be offensive or anything but why do all mabi AMVs/anything besides plain gameplay vids look extremely cheesy?

Because... When you look at Mabi... It's actually a very... Very... Very very very cheesy world.

Well, that's your opinion o-o I think it's funny because they're being cheesy on purpose. But with good videos like that, everyone has their own thoughts on it.

Maybe consider voice acting in your second season, that be fun~ :D By the way, not sure if this helps or not but you can slow down the rotation/zoom when you use the cursor to the edge technique, by holding shift when you do it. Might help with future videos o3o~
Although most of these kinda videos aren't meant to be the next Avatar in theatres, thus the "cheesey" affect to some, I personally enjoy these kind of creations from players. I recall a really good serious made awhile ago by one group, forgot what it was called. I gotta look for it and post later. Maybe it'll help give you ideas. XD
Edit: Here it is, it's called Knights O3O~ I loved this series cause I'm an epic Mabi nerd like that >_> Anyways, some of the effects they had on it was pretty cool. You can double click it to see more from the poster.

Thanks Suoh :O I didn't know about that shift thing, as for Knights... I have Doujin on my Yahoo Messenger and IG Friend's List :P I also made the first logo for the second season and helped him choose the current opening for it. He named a character's surname after my real one, but I made him take the credit down because I don't want all you weirdos learning my last name 8D
