Since theres no real advice in game
This raid posses real fight compared to others but
I dont see many who can do it
Without a guide to help the rest of the party
Its pointless

I was planning on making one, but I was collecting data.
I also need Fiona and Lann input.

Evies can slow down the Irkel's run with their Golem, or a Fiona can build up her SP off of the mammoth.
People should stay in the middle as one person (Hopefully the most experienced) drops the stones. When it's down, attack the Tusks.
Fiona: It's okay to Turtle a bit, but don't overdo it. Build up SP then use Shield Rush when it does its sweeping roar attack.
Never get cornered. Don't even risk it. It's guaranteed death, and it pulls the Irukul away from the center.
The two main Secondary weapons you should bring are Chains and Spears. Palalas are pretty useless.
When Chaining, have someone initiate (get one leg) while a second person chains after the first is successful (or looks like it may be.)

Spears are fine, I ended up with 2/2 break-off runs with Evies that had spears.

You must have good parties
All the ones am in are either full of everyone new (nobody to lead)
Or full of lag

I host my own, and we have at least 1-2 veterans every time. Either PUG vets, or a guildie. Someone just has to give some sort of instruction, and it works out rather well.

Hehe....can't wait!! This is sounding like my original Blood Lord runs, where my party failed the first 1-3 times before we finally killed him. I've been looking forward to Irukul for ages.....just need a better computer so I won't be useless, along with some time on my hands :gloom2:

If you're an Evie, Magic Fire Mine the hell out of the center. Mines can hit the tusk. And spread them out, don't clump them together. Also, call out your Reverse Gravities, so that your teammates know not to back off when he's about to get up and can instead continue comboing. Works even better if you're in a party with decent chainers, since then you can get them another hook in if you use gravity after their hooks let out.
If you're a Fiona, sprint smash spam his face after you HS his ice breath (if you're right in his face). Sprint smashes can break the tusk off too, and once you block one hit from his breath, it won't hit you again. Watch out for his face though, since that can still hit you, so only sprint smash after the attack is actually done.
If you're going to be one of the people using a chain, either agree on a signal (spam F#) for when you're going to chain, or agree on when you're going to chain (when he breaths, or when he's done, etc), or call a side, or something. Just something to help coordinate yourselves, because coordination is key. Also, I've noticed chaining works a lot better in a PUG when you have 3 people to chain.

Paladin, I'll be getting online today and playing a bit more, I've been busy with some other things and etc. But I can host some runs with you and instruct others, and etc. I can probably get some friends to join too, so we should be fine :D Just tell me the times you want to do it since I'm off today from work.

Hooks sound good but I'm yet to see them be used effectively in a pub.
My advice is to have at least one good Fiona, maybe two. Long shields, naturally. An Evie should do the block pushing, so she'll survive in case she falls.
One person descend in the beginning. Everyone else will warp there when the first cut scene ends (don't be that guy who dies right there causing the rest of us to facepalm in disbelief). The golem blocking method is pretty helpful during the initial run. Stick to the right wall if he gets close so he gets hung up. If anyone dies, leave them - they'll warp to the final room after the next cut scene.
Use all the ice first. Throw the big pieces at him. If you're lucky you might get a break-off hit or two in. He's going to pulverize it all anyhow and he takes a while to kill so use it while it exists.
Once the ice is gone, make a camp (make sure to make it so that the anvil doesn't doesn't impede the ladder to the top). Fionas should get the buff first. A little rotation here to get the buff works. Someone else should save their camp for 10-12 minutes later, since the buff wears off, the first campfire stops giving it, and people die.
Fiona lures Irukul to the 'drop-zone' as I refer to it. It's important to get the right spot so the Evie should get a block or two on the edge so Fiona knows where to lure to. Fiona needs to be careful not to get plowed while looking up there to find the right spot. The block-dropping Evie should be very conservative with the blocks in order not to waste them.
Feathers work nicely for luring since they can be cancelled with a guard/heavy stand. Other party members should try to let the luring Fiona(s) hold aggro as much as possible. Irukul seems to like staying after people so the feather trick isn't always effective at pulling him. So, every one else should concentrate on taking pot-shots when it's safe and STAYING THE F**K ALIVE.
When a block hits and stuns him. One or two people should spear or attack the tusk for the break-off. EVERYONE else should be focused on dealing as much damage as possible while he's down. If someone is consistently hitting the break-off point, let them do it alone and do not get in their line of fire. If the block-dropper is good, you can keep him stun-locked here until there's no more blocks in that spot.
Fionas should use their Shield Bash at will when it's ready, likewise with Lanns and their Furious 7. Evies should call out their Reverse Gravity so everyone can unleash while it's in effect. VOIP can be very useful in battles like this.. more people should use it. Sad that we get a game with a nice integrated VOIP system and people hardly use it and even turn it off. It's a cooperative online game, treat it as such. L4D/2 anyone?
15-20 minute runs if this is done well.
One thing I'm not sure of is if the block-dropper needs a 2nd person up there to fend off the wisps. I guess it depends on the player/class since I've seen one guy handle it alone without issue but had others who wanted a 'wisp guard'. Obviously, it's optimal if one person can handle it.
Look forward to Klaus, he's even more fun!
