Greetings all,
It's been a few weeks since I was last able to play Mabinogi. There has been numerous threads about how people can't connect to the server and such, but after a few reinstalls, it seems like everyone is back in and playing. Unfortunately, I am still left out in the cold. T_T
I have uninstalled Mabi and reinstalled several times, not to mention I've redownloaded the game a few times as well (just in case). I have tried to use the manual patcher, and have even tried to reconnect to my wireless router. I have no mods and my antivirus (which I've turned off just to see if Mabi would work) isn't effecting Mabi. Furthermore, I've restarted my computer countless times just to see if that worked.
I've ran out of ideas and miss playing Mabi.
Help anyone?

Have you tried turning off your firewall?

Sounds like Windows Firewall or some router settings is blocking your Mabinogi from connecting or something.

Try refreshing your Internet connection/Repairing it from your Control Panel on the Start menu of your computer.

It's not my internet connection since I'm online... right now.

Are you able to access the official Mabinogi website?

This might work especially if you don't use Internet Explorer as your web browser.
Open your IE browser and check if it's on offline mode. If it is, for some reason mabi doesn't think you have internet. (restarting your computer doesn't reset IE to online mode if its off)

How do I check to see if it's on online mode? Personally, I think it already is since I would go to Nexon's main page, login and try to connect to the game. Even with that, it doesn't connect to the server.

Go to your top of the toolbar, and click file. If "Work Offline" is checked, then uncheck it.

It is not offline. Anyone else have any other suggestions? I'm also waiting for Nexon to reply to my ticket...

What about unplugging your Internet connection cord and re-plugging it in? Or if you have a Modem, turn it off and then turn it on again.
Have you also tried Repairing your connection ?
With like:
Start>Connect To>Show All Connections>Connection that you use for Internet>Support>Repair?
If it's nothing to do with your ISP, then it's probably one of Nexon's failures again..

I just updated my drivers and resetted my internet connection.
I tried to repair but it said that no problems were founds. I did this a few times...
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
When I visit my parents and use their computer, I can log into my character but not on my personal computer (even though I was able to play before).
:/

Honestly, this probably won't work but you can try anyway. Pretty simple and quick to do.
Open Internet Explorer (Regardless if you use it or nooot)
Open up the Internet Options
Go to the Connections Tab
Down towards the bottom there is a box called LAN settings, click it.
Then check and see if it's trying to use a proxy or an automatic config script.
If it is, uncheck the proxy box and just click Automatically detect settings.
If not, I'm sorry. D:

When I went there my box was unchecked! o_o
After clicking it and retrying to connect, the same message came up... GOOD try though! :X

When I do, all I see is...
"Index of
ftp://mabipatch.nexon.net/
Up to higher level directory
Name Size Last Modified"
So I assume yes...
