dual wielding omg.

  i've been playing a long time and dual wielding a long time too~ i still can't figure out how to predict when i will slash 4 times or 5/6 times when im using 2 daggers. i know if my fourth lands a crit the monster will be knocked back. however!! there have been many times too when the fourth is not a crit, but the monster is still knocked back. i don't remember if this applies to normal monsters but this happens a lot in the shadow realm. my unpreparedness leads to my own pwnage.
  
  if anyone knows what causes me to stop at the fourth hit, could you please tell me?? im really curious. it would be nice to predict when i should press ice or def, instead of being caught off guard.

  but you should always be getting 6 hits unless you defend after every combo...
  I've never heard of a combo ending early unless the monster doesn't have enough time to recover from that last one
  
  try countering and then defending
  the delay from those resets the monster's knockdown gauge.

  You are probably using N+ defense.
  The first time, your daggers will hit 6 times. Then, if you defend directly after and the monster hits you, the next combo will hit 4 times. After ending a normal-hit combo, using defense, and hitting again, you'll always hit 4 times.

  Easily remedied by taking a few steps back and stalling a bit while the enemy is stunned from the block. By doing that you can get a full 6 hits off, but you still can't 6 + 1/2.
  N(+1/2) -> walk back -> Defend -> stall -> N
  
  However, you can do +1/2 if you toss in a firebolt after each knockback.
  N(+1/2) -> Firebolt -> walk back -> Defend -> stall -> N(+1/2)

  my comp is too laggy as it is, so i guess im doomed to hit only 4 on my second round. firebolt sounds good except that it takes so long to load (r5). i guess for sm's i should just try out different things that won't kill me lol. i think firebolt will just get me hit in sm's. also rep for you <3
  
  you know what~ doing def after the 4 hits gets me enough time not to get hit.

  You should look into some lag fixes such as disabling nagal and mtu value fixtures, I have a 4 year old computer and I'm far off from the mabi servers, I still get graphic lags in Iria and Tailteann so bad that I freeze and disconnect. Other than that, I can change weapons fast enough, heal at a semi fast speed and all that.

  im pretty sure i have denagled, i can heal super fast when im not lagging. but just in case, can someone post a link to legit instructions to denagle?? i couldnt find it on youtube or on here.
