Day 1
I was sleeping in the tent that night when the news arrived. I remember that annoying, white owl pecking at my feet, trying to wake me up.
"What do you want?!" I screamed at it violently. It looked at me indifferently. I then snatched the brown letter from its mouth. "Yeah, yeah, leave me alone now!"
It growled at me. I never knew owls could growl. Nevertheless, it soon flew back into the dark skies it had come from, disappearing into the night.
I closed my tent and laid the letter next to me. Whatever the important news was, it was going to have to wait. I was too exhausted to read it now.
I fell back asleep that night. I remember having a horrible dream about someone beating me in battle; literally, destroying my Golem companions into pieces. I wonder what was that about.

Day 2
It was sunny when I woke up that next morning. I got out of my tent and stretched a little. I could see a few boys racing down the streets of Emain Macha on their Black Cotton Ostriches, screaming and yelling. "I'm gonna win!!" they would say. It was entertaining to watch.
I immediately remember the letter that annoying owl had brought me last night and went inside to fetch for it. I sat down next to my most valuable weapon, the one that had been handed to me by some of the greatest Royal Alchemists of this time, and started opening the letter. It read:
Alchemist,
You are to turn in all of your Golem Crystals to the Kingdom's Castle at Tara.
Golems have recently grown too powerful and too relentless, and in order to prevent them from staging an uprising that could devastate most of Uladh, the Kingdom's Royal Military has decided to seize all Golem Crystals until further ado. They shall be returned to you once the current Golem crisis is controlled.
Signed,
Elder Royal Alchemist
Lennox
Were these people serious? Just because a bunch of wild Golems out there had been starting trouble, all of us now had to give in our own Golems for the sake of the Kingdom's security?
No way in hell was I going to turn over my Golems.

Day 3
The Kingdom had begun going after the Alchemists who had not appeared at the Royal Court yesterday. Most of them had been stripped of their Golem Crystals without any repercussions. However, some of them refused to and had been pummeled to the ground by the King's Military.
I was hiding in the outskirts of Emain Macha, watching the city being raided by Royal Knights. It was like an attack on all Alchemists, as if the King knew that we could be a threat to his precious Kingdom. But we weren't, at least, most of us didn't mean to be.
The Alchemists had been loyal to the King for many decades now. What was it about the power of the Golems that made the King fear us so much?
I sailed on a small boat over to Ceo Island that night. To my surprise, I found no Golem. All of them had been killed by the Royal Knights. The island was covered in small Golem pieces; rock everywhere. It seemed like a meteorite had fallen onto Ceo and broken into small red bits.
It was a massacre. I couldn't agree with this. I wasn't going to agree with this.
I summoned a Stone Golem out of my Cylinder and it just watched me.
"Aurghhhhhh," it groaned, as if waiting for an order.
It was the tallest thing standing on the island, foreground to all the stars in the background. I didn't understand. These Golems weren't monsters, they were our partners. They fought alongside us and defended us, as we would fend off bad guys in the Shadow Realm.
He crumbled next to me, playing dead. I laughed.
"You're harmless. Why are they so against you?"

They could always use Fireballs since the Court is made up of Priests, Druids, and Mages. owo
Not to mention they could always hit the Alchemist controlling the golem with a bolt magic to knock him out of the Golem Control, then proceed to spam bolt him down. :O
Oh, and they have the Temple Knights.
Then again, we're talking about Mabinogi and it's fail AI here... So nevermind.
