200gb is a lot if you use it right. If you don't have >9000 bluray dvd rips, then you should be able to use that memory for a whileeeeeeeee.
This. My desktop is only 160GB and it's worked for me just fine for 4+ years.
I should mention that i have Mabi, The Sims 2, Photoshop, Stream/Video capture tools, the usual stuff for computers, and tons of music, manga and videos on this same computer... and i have never run out of space.

7zip, kill winrar or winzip if you already got them.
If yu have 4GB of RAM or higher, get some form of virtualization. vmware or virtualbox, doesn't matter. Do you web browsing and file downloads, and messaging too, from within a virtual machine. Easy cleanup if you get a virus.
People don't already do that?
My living computer with 2GB of RAM uses a Vbox. :3

I've found that VMware offers better performance, personally. And they made their VMware Player software free. :3 It totally pwned VirtualBox back when I tested them both, maybe a year ago.

First time that I have seen the virtualisation thing. Seems very interesting. Looked into both vmware and virtualbox to see what it was about and I started downloading virtual box since its free. All the different products on vmware kinda confuses me. I still don't know EXACTLY what this program will do.

You don't need VMWARE if you're not going to use it. And I think you would need a Windows OS disc to be able to install a diff version of Windows on there. Basically, it emulates whatever Windows version you want as long as you have the disc. Great for Mac users to use for Windows to play Mabinogi.

ESET Smart Security.
also; paint.NET, iTunes, winrar/7zip, word viewer [if you don't own office], openoffice/tinyword, x-chat [IRC client that I can actually kinda work without help]
Another favorite of mine is MagicDisk, which I installed with Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. It basically lets you load .iso files, whether you have an external drive or not. I also have a text to PDF converter for turning Word documents into PDF's I can read on my iPod Touch. Good stuff!

How...? you don't have to do anything, you just download, and play your video file...it runs almost anything, .avi, .mkv, .mpeg, etc...
Not to mention the frequent updates, to make the player most up-to-date.

I've tried running that game on my Windows 7, but I read something about some graphic cards or drivers not supporting it. I was also unsuccessful in getting it to run. :/
Also, I second VLC Player. It runs things that Window's Media Player and the like just won't run - and with little to no effort!
