Me? Dropped mine (a Classic) in a rockpool while fishing, moments after i decided to take the cover off so it may fit it in my pocket.
It was never the same again.
*spontaneously switching on and off, not staying on hold, massive lag, freezes.
In another case, i had an original shuffle but my dog decided to chew on the dock/charger when i wasn't looking. I still haven't been bothered to buy a new charger, so it just gathers dust.
What have you (or your pet) done to your iPod?

Dropped my iPod on the ground numerous times. Not caring about it.

Dropped my Ipod on the ground like 100+ times with no cover. It still works perfectly fine, only the back is filled to the brim with scratches :thumb:

I jailbroke my first Ipod, and then it got wet one thanksgiving, and now none of the buttons work, and has no wifi.

Got a splash of water on my iPod and it stopped working. Just put it in a bag of rice and it was good as new.

I threw mine across the room to a friend in study hall, and of course, she doesn't catch it xD. Other than that, I've dropped it a few times D;

I don't have an iPod...Yet.
But I didn't do anything to my mom's.
I'm Indian, Indian people are very concious about items over $0.01. xD

My ipod is currently LOST... or I tell myself that.
It might just have gotten tired of the abuse, and ran away.:cryno:

I'm not rich enough to own an iPod.

My iPod Touch is my most valued possession, I treat it as good as possible.
...But once I dropped it on asphalt and its screen became really rough in addition to getting a small scratch... :T_T:

That's why you put it in a bag of rice, soaks up the moisture.
