I don't believe anyone's done this yet, so here goes.
Post a video of your favorite moment in your video gaming experience. Maybe it's an epic boss fight, a touching moment, or an inspiring sequence of heroism. ONLY ONE VIDEO! There's always something that sticks out above everything else. That's the one you should post.
Also post why you like your chosen moment so much.

(apologies for crackly audio; not my video, best I could find <_<)

This is the final directive of Purifier Unit First Class MegaMan Trigger -- to destroy the false paradise of Elysium. After living a perfect existence for 3000 years, the Master realized that removing hardship and pain from life caused it to become sterile and pointless.
"Seeing these people, grateful for the simple joys of life... I wonder, was I truly happy?"
He commands MegaMan to leave him, knowing he will die if he does not return to Elysium, but is strangely at peace. MegaMan, being an android, is unable to comprehend the Master's feelings entirely, but does his duty to his master and friend, fighting against impossible odds to fulfill his directive. This event directly caused the events of the entire Legends series.
Every time I replay this game and watch this cutscene, I'm almost brought to tears. It's the only game that puts so much meaning and so much weight on MegaMan's fighting. The fight for "justice" is not directed against a figurehead or organization, but against an idea -- the idea of human immortality, even what might be considered godhood.

Hmm, I have quite a few.
The entire Zelda series, for one. So many great moments, some happy, some sad. A big part in games to me is the music, and Zelda never fails in the music department.
The death parts of Assassins Creed 2 were pretty moving. When Ezio and his target exchange lines, and some of them show regret and remorse, while others show anger and hatred.
Also, moments of self-sacrifice get to me too. I always bawww when a character I liked dies to save someone else. Hell, even this part got to me, from Sonic Adventure 2.

(2:51) The last good moment in a Sonic game. All the games after that don't exist ;~;
However, this is by far the best moment of self-sacrifice, ever.

Fixed. StH was pretty damn good imho. =P And don't forget Sonic Unleashed, which would have been gold if not for that damned werehog.
inb4 I'm derailing my own thread

Shadow the Hedgehog had it's moments, but the gameplay wasn't great, and Shadow surviving kind ruins the ending of Sonic Adventure 2.
The day stages of Sonic Unleashed were good, but the story and werehog stages were 'meh'.

I don't have a video or anything, but I do have a very epic experience.
Lance in Pokemon HG. My team was underleveled, and some how I won. It was one of those matches where if I missed or he got a critical hit I would have lost. Lots of random chances happened. There were three critical moments. First was when he had beaten my Togetic with one of his level 49 Dragonites, so I switched out to Milktank (lvl 41), he used a full restore, I used body slam. It paralyzed it. And it stayed paralyzed until Milktank body slammed it to death.
Another epic moment was when it was Togetic vs. Dragonite. I used metronome, and somehow, I hit it with Sleep Powder, and I was able to heal most of my Pokemon.
The final moment was when My Feraligator had to spam screech to knock out his lvl 50 Dragonite. Feraligator 1hkoed it, so Lance switched out to his final Pokemon, Arodayctl (I forgot how to spell it! O_o) Anyway It was faster than Feraligator so it ended up using Thunder Fang. Feraligator held on with 17 HP and finished the match with a Critical hitting Waterfall.

Edit: Actually, I think the most touching moment was in Tales of Vesperia where Raven leaves the party and encounters them as...

First off, it was an epic battle.
Secondly, the post battle was kinda sobering.

It's the Portal end credits.
During the game, GLAdos promises you cake when you are finish. In the end she tries to kill you in a pit of fire, but you escape. Test room 19 is a place where you have to go all over the lab and escape GLados, till you finally face her in the end. The credit song is so funny because their are many lines that you encounter during actual gameplay xD.

I agree, it's hard choosing your very favorite one :P
But I've chosen the moment you use the crystal on Zeromus in FF4...

I just love how the music transitions from that of hope to that of utter despair. I can't explain it. It just made me go "OSHI-" the first time I played through it and no other video game has made me do that.

Okami, before final boss. So dramatic, so sad yet happy.. While watching this, I could feel the tears behind my eyes, but I'm a man that smells like the man your man could smell like, so I didn't cry.

A close second would be the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, getting the Couple's Mask.

Was and probably still is the last level and boss fight of Shinobi III on the sega. When that game came out it was my favorite, and probably still would be to this day if I could still play it (no moar sega and don't like emulators much).
