So I got windows 7 a few days ago, and now the client randomly crashes while entering any non-specific map (even my own home) or switching channels.
I've tried reinstalling, I've tried different video card drivers, but it hasn't fixed the issue. Mods are not the source of the problem, either.
A fellow w7 mabi user also has a similar issue, so it isn't just me...
Help me fix it, please and thank you :T_T:

No error message is shown? If not:
Does the most recent file in either:
<my documents path>\Mabinogi\Report error
or
<my documents path>\Mabinogi\Bug Report
Have any useful info? If pasting it here be sure to filter out any sensitive info if there is any.
Also the new windows has all kinds of default settings that might screw things up, I'm not familiar with them though, but this is microsoft we're dealing with... microsoft AND nexon. Not good.

Have you tried any other games that use lots of memory and need to load new maps? At worst it's a memory problem, but if others have the exact same thing then I doubt it.

This is just because mabinogi wasn't made for windows 7, nor windows vista, so there are errors. Yes, it's possible to play, but unexpected issues may occur.

This was very useful.
Hmm I have Windows 7 64 bit and haven't had a problem.
Have you tried running compatibility mode under Windows XP SP3? I ran the Mabinogi Setup that way and so far encountered no problems.
What are your computer specifications?

I have 2 computers running win7 ultimate and business (both 64bit)
The ultimate version never crashes whereas the business version crashes while loading housing channel quite a bit. Also, mabi doesn't allow you to use compatibility mode :/

Well create a new topic since the issues are not the same.
Also are they the same model?
