That is ridiculously rare, if not impossible. I know even I who had a very deep level of maturity since I was young, still had to let my maturity grow in certain aspects until I was 14.

According to Monday, I was something like this when I was 10. I don't believe him.

30 with the mind of a 7 year old? Common. Psh... Okay, maybe not.

It's easy if you suffer from mental retardation. xD Not so much being a 'kid at heart', though.. I know a few people like that and are still very mature. Mm.
But being pretty mature in a lot of aspects isn't too hard at a young age, given you have had a hard enough life and perhaps some biological predisposition? (Not sure if biology affects it too much in this case; probably only affects overall intelligence..)

The state of thinking in a rational (logical, sensible, reasonable) manner.
Am I the only one who thought of the philosophy of rationalism there instead of just thinking rationally? Guess I'm too nerdy~
I'm also probably the only who thinks this idea is utter bollocks.
After all the immature have the most pressing need to learn and thus mature... this stance of yours will get society nowhere, which is worse since it's so prevalent. /rant

a) I thought about rationalism and idealism too.
b) This is why I think this sub-forum should be visible for everyone (the sub-forum, not the content itself) and participation should be approved by the administrators and moderators of said section. I do think that it needs a new moderator because as Kazuni said, she is 15, and I think Mop is 16, and maybe they don't feel like moderating that section. So a new admin/mod should decide if they allow a new person in after analyzing their posts etc.

Sorry Shira, that was an accident. It's fixed now.
And also everyone, please stopping picking on each other. You are saying how inappropriate certain members are but all you are doing is looking more immature.
As for people being mentally mature, people who aren't deemed to be so will be removed, regardless of age.
Maybe a warning system related to the section? Might be complicated to add it as a feature, so you'd just have to keep it down somewhere who gets strikes.
Quote from Lan;362644:
And you are more mature than about 75% of our members.
Implying over 90% of the forum isn't inactive or lurkers

I was like this, mostly a hatred of adults being ignorant and prideful, I pretty much missed out on that part of my childhood completely between the fact I'm homeschooled and ignored fun to study to outdo adults who continuously ignored my words regardless of the fact I was correct in the subject and they weren't. Highly doubtful we'll see too many mature people near that age though. I CAN name a few under 16 who would be deemed fit though...
