I just started back up playing since about a week before the last update came out, and it just seems that getting gold is somewhat difficult.
Before, you could farm ores for money, but they aren't worth anything any more, and since the market has settled down since the mass of people at update release, everything is so cheap.
I'm a level 48 Staff Evie and all the money I get from quests/mob items pretty much all go towards basic necessities like repairing, runes, spears/palalas.

Not really. Still easy for me, just takes some time, but they come in bulks of millions.
EDIT: OOPS wrong game, my bad

I get my money just from missions, and I repair after every or every other mission. I buy life ergs if I need more potions, craft all of my own things (I buy the basic necessities...i.e. cloth for fine or superior cloth), buy some things to complete quests instead of running missions for them, buy spears/palalas/mine bombs, and I still always have at least 100k, which should be fine unless you dye your equipment or buy new equipment.
I'm not sure where all your money is going. :I

Well, how are you getting money? Or.. what is the best way to grind/farm for money?

Sell the most needed items that are still somewhat valuable.
Emblems of Ressurection, Soul Essences, Life Erg Crystals, Enchant Scrolls, Irukul Tusks, etc.

Oh, I dye. A lot.
I spent near 7 mil on Rose Drop. Luckily, I only needed about 2 mil to get my Blood Lord set the right color.
With how much it costs to dye each item (it's like 45K or something per Temptress item), I need more than quest completion gold.

Oh my, I NEVER. EVER dye my items, I just buy the color I want, And sell the one I don't like anymore, its really like getting the color you wanted for free.

Dyeing is your problem.
I'll only dye parts of my intermediate sets so they don't look super ugly, but not enough for them to all be the same color (unless it's a stupid set like White Tyrant armor). That stuff's a money sink and is more of a luxury than anything.

Well, even without dying, it's suffering. I mean, I'm not dirt poor, but just spending gold on the necessary (runes, reparing, spear, etc), I made just 70K from 15 boats. Which is tiresome.

You could try wearing lower lvl armors to save gold (or no armor runs, if you're brave!). Also, try merchanting some of the new materials like yeti leathers, ice crystals, gold ores, and frost stones. Hmm, try Hard Mode dungeons for gauntlet tickets and extra gold rewards. Even fishing can be a good source of gold, when you're out of tokens since fish tend to sell pretty well on the Market.
I think I stopped dyeing after spending 500K and not remotely getting any colors I liked for Broken Ash, Sweetie Bear, Rose Drop, and Blood Silk :|
The new lvl 50 armor tends to cost upwards of 41K per dye too... Better off selling the armor and getting another color from the market. It's kind strange that there's new armor for lvl 50-52, lvl 52, lvl 56, and then lvl 58.

Use Resenlian Runes before the regular Healing Runes? Use SP: Regeneration and Erg Transformation to help heal?
Don't Firebolt with reckless abandon?
Only use secondaries when you really think it would help, or if you need a breakoff?
Farm some key monsters for their loot for a couple days?
I never had a problem with money when I was a staff Evie. I usually always had enough income from just selling loot and whatnot without ever having to worry about my money.

I'd do what others post and just buy the colors you want off the marketplace.
If you can't find the colors you want, keep crafting the pieces and sell the colors you don't like (assuming the cost of crafting is <= market price). This is especially true for mid level sets (you spend 2mil dying blood lord ?!).

If you are at or near the level caps, it's easy to farm money. The trick is to be on the leading edge and sell your drops early, and be a little patient about getting the latest and greatest armor sets. Most of the rarer materials for Sinister/Shining Will/Temptress are still 25-60k each. Farm them yourself, don't buy them. Farm for other expensive items like Soul Essence or Magic Infused Stones. Monitor the marketplace to see when all of the sudden those 40 useless Frost Stones you have are worth 20k each, and capitalize. It helps to have extra storage tabs so you can keep all your old drops. For a while I was also buying crimson tokens to do runs, because a 32k token could get me 100k+ in drops. Now I have just as much cash as I used to, and 60+ crimson tokens for future use.
And since Nexon is supposedly addressing the dye situation, I am waiting to dye my Shining Will set. Two parts came out red from crafting on mine, so I guess I am gonna go with that. But I'd rather pay 1/10th the price and/or get 3 choices.

Ya, i have the same problem. Especially on my evie its hard to keep money and on my fiona ,that i barely play, i make a lot more money. And dyeing really sucks, especially since evie gets such awesome clothes and its hard not to dye ugly colored items! Dx And i hate how Korea gets cheaper dying (idk if this changed but i was watching a video of clothes dying in korea from a while ago and rose drop only costed them like 6k per piece to dye!)
