Looks really nice. Now I have to grind to cap just so I can do this immediately.

This is gonna be bad ass I don't see why people are saying its too fast, If they make the cap higher it'll be better that way if you get a lot of levels worth of EXP past 60 you won't just lose it, its a shame they didn't make it so they save the EXP that way players won't lose all their work.

I was incredibly put off by the rush of the next episode. I had decided to take a break from my Fiona, switching to my Evie, thinking 'Hey, i've got atleast another month or so, this was a big update.' Then for Nexon to put out before the current episode was a month of that they would be putting in the new chapter this month? Either way, I know I'll love it, but it would've been nice to wait for it a bit longer.

I'm just hoping that they don't run into a bunch of glitches and bugs for trying to update so much so fast.

I've been taking my time leveling my Lann thinking that there wasn't going to be an update until like April or May. He's not even level 40 yet and now I have to grind my ass off so I can go pally D:

Mind giving your reason as to why you think they should've waited longer? I'm curious, because I can only think of one legitimate reason and would like to know if there's another good reason for people advocating slower updates.

Correction: You have to grind your ass off if you want to go pally the moment the patch hits.

But... you still do have a month or so to reach the level that you wanted to reach. You just won't be level cap because of the update. You'll still be at the same level you wanted to get to anyway. I don't understand.

I'll give you my own reason. When Laghodessa and Blood Lord came out, most everyone who played actively was at the required level and running these dungeons repeatedly (to craft the new armors). It was easy to find a party, and for guilds it was easy to organize groups for these raids. Right now, with the last update there are SO many missions to do, a long chain of events to go through, and this spreads everyone out (which is the issue I have with large & frequent updates). It becomes more difficult to fill a party, and organizing parties within a guild becomes more difficult, even when everyone may have been at the cap when the update came.
If I had my preference there would be smaller updates more often, rather than large updates seldom. Large updates being issued frequently sets a pace Nexon cannot keep up once caught up with the Korean content, and scatters the client base over all the content available.

I think the only reason people are saying this update is fast is because having even a little downtime would be nice. This game is pretty grindy, and sometimes a bit tiring.

That's the reason I also came up with. Although, I occasionally look to see if there's anything in Boat 5 to do when I'm tired of Hilder Forest and still see a moderate amount of parties there, so I'm not entirely sure how much weight that holds.

This, however, I cannot entirely agree with, since NA Nexon's producing team would have more time to work on bugs, suggestions and other technical stuff aside from adding content, should we catch up. I'm not saying that that'll happen, but it's certainly a possibility. And Vindictus does have quite a few bugs.

This I don't get. You can make your own downtime. No one's forcing you to grind or play the game every day.

But some people feel like they have to race to be in the top.

Not to mention that the people who first get access to the dungeons control the prices of the items that drop..ergo they become filthy rich.
Thankfully, I'm one of those people ;D
