Were you lagging before it happened? My old computer restarts itself when i lag too hard.

'While playing'.
Need more elaborate details than that. When you say, 'while playing', I assume you mean whilst gaming. Mabinogi? Other games? Does it also happen simply whilst browsing the web? Does this happen at random intervals?

Could be your computer overheating, so it automatically shuts down before it gets damaged internally. I had the same problems before, where at first it was only Vindictus that would cause my computer to shut down, so I thought it was something with the game, and was confused by the lack of a blue screen. Eventually, it was where I run any game that my computer crashed after a few minutes in game, to the point where my computer crashes as soon as my computer fully boots up and logs into my account. So a simple dusting of your computer will most likely help.

During vindictus
No lag
No error screen

Your BIOS settings for that might be set too low for max temperature.
It might even be your graphic card overheating if it can't properly handle the gaming. Open up your case and check out how hot stuff is.
It could also be any number of hardware problems like a bad power supply or some kind of other electrical issue. It's hard to properly test those things without having spare parts to swap out.
It could also be on the software end, check the windows event logs to see if it tells you anything around the time of the shut downs.

Right click your computer on desktop or start menu and go to "manage", event viewer or something along those lines should be in there.

Is windows service packs imporant?
After looking inside the compy
Its looks to either
When i installed windows 7 service pack one it conflicts with vindi(from looking at event viewer)
My old psu has been cooked by the interal temp of the compy
Gonna test by having case opened now and seeing what happened
