Defense, because I have no one to impress, including myself, nor am I obligated to.

I like looks more, but why not have both xD.
Some heavy-defense armor even looks stylish.
Like Valencia...
Like Holy Moon (For men)
Quote from Moppy;36545:
Looks. You can always upgrade and put enchants on it anyways to make it better.
You're also not supposed to get hit anyways, so whatever.
True true. This is another reassurance thing that looks > defense for me.
Quote from Laconicus;36546:
In every game I've played I've always chosen stats over appearance. In mab you can use robes to cover everything else up anyways, and imo robes look better. I'm using a gemma robe, and I don't see many of those being worn. Conversely, mab pros don't need def because they don't get hit. I, on the other hand, like to have as much def as possible just in case. xD
NOOOOOOOO!
Quote from Kazuni;36549:
Definitely looks.. but I wear well-dyed robes over well-dyed outfits anyways. If it's not dyed white+black+my shade of purple (or a flashy), I won't wear it. Like, over my dead body </3.
I only wear my armor when I really need to. Which is when I can remember. Which is.. frankly.. never.
xP High level!
Quote from Loret;36558:
Why not have 2 outfits? :D
Inv Space? Costs? I dunno.
Quote from Intex;36559:
Defense.
I have ugly as hell equipment but I just cover it with a robe.
Ew Robes!!
If you want looks get the fashion and put it on when you sit in Dunbarton, use armor in the dungeons.
Totally
Quote from Gargamaru;36560:
giant robes are ugly as hell so ill go with clothing.
Giant clothing is totally ugly as hell.
Pirta is the sexiest thing ever for Giants, excluding Selina ...
Quote from Pikablu;36563:
Pi pikachu pika. Pika pikachu, pi pi pika.
(For the moment Pika is leaning more for Armor when it comes to serious preparations (I.E. Serious dungeon run of seriousness, Serious Shadow runs of seriousness, Serious Field bosses of Seriousness). But when there's an occasion where it's okay not to be wearing my armor (which is what Pika mainly uses enchants on), Pika will wear clothes to show off.)
Pika is correct, I think, Pika.
Quote from EndlessDreams;36576:
Both.
Mods allow you to have both.
Mods..? -Explanation-
Quote from Trigger;36601:
My heavy armors look awesome thank you very much. =P
Some do :]

Omg +rep.
I totally loved that response. :thumb:
Especially for the fact that I'm practically a gay guy (ingame), this totally makes em want to go heavy armor. @_@
The cheapest though xD

:\
I refused to be seen anywhere without my properly dyed outfits. I REFUSE.
Even when I have scarecrow enchants on, I must wear a dyed robe outside of it. I don't care about the stats, frankly. I just want the look :l
I can't play when I consider myself mismatched and colour un-coordinated. I would go into a dungeon and spend half the time looking for an outfit that pleases me that day instead of wearing armor.
And plus, the dye/customization feature for clothing is there for a reason and I plan to use it to its fullest.
I'm not settling for second best :spit:.

I know what you mean.
Only exception is when I pretend to be a noob.

When I have everything blessed, armor any-day.

If my armor looks good and packs a good punch (with max damage and critical) I'll prefer that any day above defence.

i like my val :3 i wear it most of the time, especially when i fight hard stuff.
other times when i dont give a crap i just wear my upgraded sniper because of space and i dont care how cheap i look. lul.
when im too sick of seeing my sniper i dress up to look nice, even if its only like for 2 minutes. lul.
when i do easy dungeons i trust in my natural defense so i just wear nice clothes, or crit inducing clothes.

Strength (either damage or crit) > Technique (Pot Poison set, Low-HP set) > Looks > Naked > Defense
Except for the Mana Master build, absolutely no other defensive strategy seems efficient to me. Therefore, defense is pretty much worthless and I'd rather run around naked. Maybe giants, but I have yet to see any giant play defensively - especially since dedicated giants are pretty rare, much less ones that focus on defense.
Also Clothing looks good (if you can wear it - ie. elves and humans) and has a very high potential with accessories. It's win-win.

Looks AND Defense. Female Giants in Valencia Armor are the hawtest things on the server. Well, I am anyway. XD

Function over fashion if you're looking for defense etc.
Fashion rules in town for showing off though ... just change clothes / outfits ... most people have pets to store all kinds of clothing.
