So far so good, I like the new UI and drop rate. Day 1 ended on lvl27, only did quests from lvl0 to 23 but if your a mobbing class and more of a grinder I would recommend Blue Ribbon Pigs from around lvl13 to 22 and then Mixed Gollem Mini Dungeon afterwards.
If your on Zenith, add me
ForteMk
Theres apparently already lvl120s

So I wanna try Maple but I know nothing about it. Any server/character recommendations?
Also, how NX needy is this game to be... well, as enjoyable as it can be?

El Nido! :D
Seriously, that's where a good number of Nation members are playing, and we just set up a guild tonight, so it's a great place to start. And now it's not as bad with NX as it used to be. Now NX is used mostly for 2x Drop coupons and temporary looks (since Nexon changed the permanent cash shop avatar pieces. >.>), and of course Meso Sacks, which gives you either 1, 5, or 10 mil Mesos, depending on how much NX you're spending (500, 2400, and 4200 respectively).
But as for recommendations for classes, well, it depends, since Big Bang did change a good bit about the classes. As for right now, I would probably make either a Warrior or a Cleric. Warriors are great for beginners, since their skills are straight forward, you don't have to worry about stat placement (Big Bang patch made any non-Pure Str Warrior obsolete), and deal a good bit of damage. They promote to Hero (bossing class that deals massive damage), Paladin (defensive/"Magic" class, magic being that they can infuse their weapons with elemental affinities to help train on mobs), and Dark Knight (mob control, with several skills that hit several enemies multiple times, as well as a buff that increases the parties Max HP and MP for 5 minutes at a time). Clerics are nice because they can join any party, what with being a healing/buffing class. Higher leveled Clerics get buffs that increase Exp gain, as well as a powerful summon and a very nice damage dealing skill (although it's been nerfed with Big Bang thanks to a cooldown).
Come the 19th though, the Resistance Classes come out. Wild Hunter, from what I've seen, looks extremely powerful, and definitely looks like it makes any Archer class obsolete. Battle Mages are also pretty nice, being a support class like Clerics, except the Battle Mage boosts the party's attack while the Cleric boosts defense. If Battle Mages could heal, then they would make Clerics obsolete as well. And probably some time in January, the Mechanic comes out and looks like a pure DPS class, with several high hitting multi hit skills.
So its up to you. I'd probably just make a couple of characters to experiment, then finally decide on which one you like the most.

Uh, does anyone know of a guide for Thunder Breakers (as in what to put for skills and stuff) for post BB? I'm scared to screw it up and start again D:

I don't think much changed with them owo
I'm using a Corsair build that was before BB, and the only difference i heard there is is that you max crit when you're a gunslinger instead of getting some other skill o3o

You thought the Big Bang was complete? You thought wrong!
You need all the help you can get with the Black Mage threatening to take over the world!
That’s why we’re giving EVERY CHARACTER -- you read it right, that’s EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER -- a free SP Reset Scroll!
This SP Reset Scroll is not your average scroll though -- this is the scroll to top all SP Reset Scrolls! With one use, it will reset all your Skill Points except your beginner’s skills!
From 12/9/10 to 11:59 PM on 12/15/10, for one entire week, log into every character you play to receive this awesome SP Reset Scroll each! Have 14 characters? Log in 14 times at least!
One thing though, once your character receives the SP Reset Scroll you only have 24 hours to use the SP Reset Scroll because after 24 hours, it will disappear!
So remember:
FREE SP RESET!
ALL CHARACTERS!
7 DAYS TO CLAIM!
24 HOURS TO USE!
