I'm using my phone's internet 'cause I'm clueless. The short of it is though, my computer will only connect to a page if I use the IP address. Other programs like Skype seem to connect fine. This problem seems to happen and stop randomly and I dunno how to fix it. Any ideas? D=

Try "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes in command prompt.
Then see if it works. If not use your phone to look up how to change DNS servers on whatever windows you have, and use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers.
If it doesn't work after that you might have an actual problem on your end.

Thanks Osay, but neither solved it for me. I'm guessing it has to do with my school's network, somehow. Hopefully it'll come back eventually like it has before. >.<

Try "nslookup" in command prompt, it should look something like this:
C:\>nslookup
Default Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address: 8.8.8.8
> mabination.com
Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com
Address: 8.8.8.8
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: mabination.com
Address: 66.147.235.130
You type nslookup and then mabination.com or another website you know should normally work.

Alright, so my internet is working again (at least at the moment), but I did the nslookup thing anyway and got this:
nslookup mabination.com
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
Server: UnKnown
DNS: 8.8.8.8
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.

***Request to UnKnown timed-out
I dunno what it means. =( I'm gonna be sending a ticket in to my school's network's support and see if they say anything helpful, while I still have easy access to the internet.
