I always wanted to try the game out but since i switch to clear internet my speed has not been all that amazing while playing mabi but it isn't to bad. My question is how well does vindictus preform interms of lag and ping. And is it one of those game where you need a super awesome computer to play.

Well, its better than it was a few months ago, at least.
Go ahead and give it a go I suppose. The upcoming update will make Vindictus a little more playable.

If you're bored of Mabi, by all means go to Vindictus. If you can't do any gameplay, at least the graphics will make you feel better~

Well, for me personally, its really laggy even on lowest settings, but my computer is 2-3 years old and its probably not very good because my parents cant really afford much, and it was like, my only christmas present that year xD. I dont really have a fast internet either, idk how much that affects it. It probably depends on if your computer is cheap, like mine and if it is youll probably have to upgrade some parts (idk if it would be your graphics card or w/e) to get it to run better but its still playable.

The specs are actually pretty generous considering the game is relatively new, and comparing to larger titles. If your computer was decent/good when it was new, and NOT a laptop, It can probably play it at the lower settings. Laptops that are new now can have trouble playing because of performance issues, and that usually isn't a problem with a traditional computer unless it was super budget when you got it. If you can play normal Magi, you can probably play heros as well.

Haha Dark, my comp wouldn't even run Vindictus when it first came out. Now it does, even if it lags a tad. Just keep everything on the lowest settings and have nothing else open while playing and you should be fine. Also, make sure to join boats with people who have good connection, and try to stick to smaller parties if you lag a lot. The less people the less lag, I'd be happy to help you if you decide to start 8D Just make a character on the West server. My In Game Name is Koheu, don't be afraid to add me.

As far as what you need to run it, Vindictus is a lot more GPU dependent than CPU dependent. For example, even though I only have a Core2 Duo E6750 processor, I can run it on full settings thanks to my GTX460.

Your computer can most likely paly it. Mine is a single core with 512 ram and 1.79 GHZ and a 6200 Geforce graphics card and i can play it. all i have is slow loading and crappy lag spikes but that sabout it.

I sugguest playing a WHOLE NEW game alltogether... and Don't try Nexon games their not that good, vindictus has looks and quick action.... really the replayability is staggeringly low... as it gets VERY boring...idk how people can grind on it... honestly... its the same shi over and over... maple is even worse... I only played mabi cause it was somewhat better in choice and custimization but even if you look at it .... its still honestly WIN skills.... Smash, WM, AR, Mag Thunder/Fireball , and odd fullswing... thats about it...
When GW 2 is out I'll be migrating there... anyone with me? lol

As long as you host, you won't feel any lag. For the other party members in your team, it might be unplayable.
Basically, if you have bad internet, you might be soloing for awhile... and it gets boring fast.

Vindictus is repetitive? It's a matter of perspective. I've been around since beta but I think practicing against bosses is where the fun really starts. The hilarity and drama to be had in PUGs is also priceless.
Darksaint: I play on a three-year old laptop that wasn't built for gaming at all. I have settings on lowest, of course, but sometimes I still do experience slight graphics lag in 8-man parties, or when I'm looking at particle effects up close (campfire, collapsing column, etc). Turning the camera away or keeping things zoomed out fixes that somewhat. As for internet connection - just join other parties if you can't host. You'll lag, but you'll get to play along with others.

Yeah honestly I don't get how Vindictus gets so boring for you guys. I started around Christmas and I still play every chance I get! Since I'm a hybrid Evie I get the luxury to switch back and forth between Scythe and Staff (right now I'm playing Staff more often). Hero Mode during dailies are always fun, especially if you have a good guild! That always matters, also if you absolutely have done EVERYTHING Vindictus has to offer try a new character it gives a fresh new perspective.
