Paladin Wings Make Sense...

  Be happy. You don't have falcon wings, okay? They look like cardboard and are a hell lot worse. Don't even complain. You paladins can glow and throb while we're all dull and feathery. Not to mention the beast-like attire.

  These are more interpretations of the characters in my future-Mabinogi-Story though so I can do whatever the heck I want with transformations when I draw them!

  I didn't actually see the infra arm. I might've thought it was a glove or a sleeve. Now that I think about it, it might look better if her whole armor was a bit darker and more.. infra iish? But the guy is so cute :tea:.

  That's because the Goddesses were originally Crow Magician-like Goddesses in Celtic mythology. Since Crows are black and they could turn into them at will, yeah. It makes perfect sense that they have black wings. Since Paladins are related to the Goddesses and the Spirit of the Armor is related to Morrighan, you get black wings as well.

  Yeah. The armor is actually 'unofficial colors'. I haven't decided what color scheme to give her since I wanted to move away from Black/Purple and Black/Red. Most of her armor is leather anyway...

  This is the original PSD file and pencil drawing of her character design where I pulled the colors from... I so need to finish this.
  
  In-game Rui has a side-tail. In the story she starts out with a side-tail but loses it later on, hence why her hairstyle is different from the original design in the little doodle up top.
  
  Armor is based off of Tioz armor in-game.
  
  I actually didn't know what to do about that arm and how I would chibi-fy it, really...

  The computer drawing's really nice, it looks a lot better when it's more menacing than a chibi xD. The pencil drawing looks a bit stiff in the arms, but I love the way you draw, it's so.. I dunno. I just fail at clothes most of the time. :tea:

  I'm just thinking of scrapping the drawing all together and making a new one of this character. The drawings do seem stiff and slightly off the proportions I really want.
  
  Rui is supposed to be a smaller kid... A very... menacing kid. Not so much a young adult.
