has anyone ever used xlink to play a game online?

and is it possible to use it wirelessly with a PSP device? Not adhoc to USB which seems to be the norm.

I've been combing through faqs and tutorials and it's rather overwhelming. the tech level is definitely above my general knowledge.

the game i've been trying it with is god eater burst. I'm using custom firmware on my PSP, so apparently I don't need to exchange SSIDs or any of that fancy stuff.
