Quote from Andy-Buddy;386185:
The Bonus damage goes into the damage formula, which is multiplied by the percentile.
It's damage that does not have the enemy's defense subtracted from it.
For most attacks, the formula is:
(ATK - DEF + 900 + extra damage * 6.25)* percentile * (1 + Base Mastery% + Mastery%)
The enhancement damage is the "extra damage."

Thanks for that, I didn't think to look at that thread. I should have, sorry!
What I'm getting from that is +1 "extra damage" is worth +6.25 ATK, assuming the parenthesis are correct.
I say +1 not 1 because I mean that the effect of adding +1 damage has the same effect that adding +6.25 ATK does. For example:
Assume a base attack of 10k attacking def of 5k,
+100 damage vs. +625 ATK is
(10,000 - 5,000 + 900 + 100 * 6.25)
vs.
(10,000+625 - 5,000 + 900 + 0 * 6.25)
Doing the math:
damage: (10,000 - 5,000 + 900 + 100 * 6.25) = (5,000 + 900 + 625) = 6,525
atk: (10,000+625 - 5,000 + 900 + 0 * 6.25) = (5,625 + 900 + 0) = 6,525
True?

That makes damage a pretty darn valuable stat, imo. I definitely want as much of it as possible on my weapon. It's especially nice for a class like Evie since it applies in the same way to both magical and physical attacks, so it's actually better than an equivalent amount of +MATK.
