Since transformations are pretty new and all, despite reading everything I can find about them here, on VindictusDB and the (largely useless) wiki, I still have questions (as usual!)
So here we go :
1. How is experience earned in transformation calculated? I've heard that the maximum you can earn in 1 battle is 100, and that killing the boss gives you a 100...so just transform and kill the boss? Or do normal enemy kills somehow factor in as well?
I only got 98 once though...(transformed at the boss and killed him)
2. Do you get the transformation XP if you die while transformed? (or even *gasp* lose the battle?)
3. Is levelling up the transformation skills as slow as it seems? I mean, maximum 100 points per battle, 2000 to level 1 point...that's a lot of transformations!
4. Can you transform twice per battle if you use one and then the next hour resets while you're in the dungeon? (For example, it's 11:49, you transform, and then again at 12:00)
That's about all I can think of at the moment.

1. It's dependent on the amount of damage you do. I've gotten 100 exp while transformed by just killing trash mobs in boat 6.
2. I'm pretty sure the moment transformation wears off (whether it's from dying, naturally wearing off, or probably even if you cancel it), you get the exp.
3. Yes.
4. Not sure. Probably.

People have said that you can, but I've tried it and didn't work for me. The transformation icon stays gray after use.

I posted a list in VHQ... just going to copy and paste.
About trans exp:
1. If you only use trans, and do nothing with it till the end, you get 75 exp.
2. If you trans on the boat (the waiting room), it will not give you any trans exp.
3. If you died, left the boat, canceled trans, or went into the screenshot period (after killing mission boss), you will receive your trans exp.
4. Highest trans exp you can get per trans is 100 exp.
5. You will only receive your trans exp once, so if you go into screenshot period before trans end, killing more stuff after that won't give you any exp.
6. You can also get trans exp even if you're assisting.
7. Grasp/Steal also counts toward your trans exp.
8. Killing the boss does not guarantee you 100 trans exp.
9. Killing mob seems to give more trans exp for the same amount of damage done, but I need more testing to confirm this.
About trans count:
1. Trans count reset at every hour mark (7pm, 8pm etc), it's not a cool down like mediation. (You can check the time of the server by enabling it in menu>option>etc)
2. On boat, using trans before the host pressed the start button, will not take away your count for the hour.
3. Using trans after the host pressed the start button (during the starting sequence), will take away your count for the hour. (And you won't have a picture of you transforming, it will automatically fix you into pally/dk armor and skip the animation, so don't bother.)
4. If you're in a dungeon, and used trans in that dungeon, you won't be able to use trans again in that particular dungeon, even if the time just hit an hour mark. (if you used trans on boat, as long as you switch something in the quick slot, you can still use trans in the dungeon. Credit: jakjak4161)
To check if trans is used for that hour or not:
Switch to trans icon, even if you don't have a single SP, and try to use it.
If you have already used trans at that hour, it will show you "You must wait before you can....".
If you have used trans in that particular dungeon, it will show the same message.
If you didn't, it won't show anything.
Grasp/Steal:
1. Grasp and Steal don't add toward your SP. (And for those who doesn't know, the only thing that counts toward your SP is attacks that consume stamina, normal attack does not give SP, no matter how many times you use it.)
2. For Paladin, grasp damage is around 300 per cast (1v1 against boss), 100 per missile (If there's more than one enemy).
3. Grasp shoot 3 missiles when there's only one monster, more when there are more than one. (For two it will shoot 6 missiles, even if you don't have divine punishment leveled.)
Note: trans exp does not scale proportionally with damage dealt, I will have to test if it has anything to do with action done or enemy killed.

Edit:
Nvm, minimum exp is not 1 pt, it's lower. Tested on spiders, they do not give 1 pt each, rather, more like 0.1 pt.
Edit 2:
New test result:
Veteran Gnoll Captain normal mode, spamming grasps to kill from full hp will give 9 exp.
VCC hard mode, spamming grasps to kill from full hp will give 7 exp.
VCC normal mode, spamming grasp to kill from half hp will give 4 exp.
approx. 1000 damage dealt will give 1 exp on VCC. Going to test this on mobs

4. If you're in a dungeon, and used trans (including the waiting boat), you won't be able to use trans again in that particular dungeon, even if the time just hit an hour mark.
Just as a side note, you can use trans in the dungeon if you also have used it on the waiting boat. Just as long as you switch at least one of the items you had in your quickslot before the transformation to something new after the transformation. (All this before the leader presses start of course)

Hmm...I was gonna say something about that, jakajak4161. There are also some really funny things that happen if you transform on the boat, change your equipped armor/weapon/inner/etc and then wait for the 2min to end. I wonder though...I'm guessing just switching out quickslot items wouldn't "cancel" the transformation, while still allowing one to use the transformation during the dungeon?
Another oddity I found:
If you end your transformation timer while on a ladder, you'll appear standing in the air next to the ladder (that is, until you try to move).

Same thing happens if you use an Evie Golem command on a ladder.

LOL, I guess those commands really do cancel any action.
