Quote from Nexon:
The Renaissance: this was when the fine arts flourished, when artists like Michelangelo and playwrights like Shakespeare crafted masterpieces. Well, with Hamlet concluded and Romeo & Juliet on the horizon, we’d like to see the kind of Renaissance masterpieces the Mabinogi community can produce! Grab your brushes (or your camera, or your Play-Doh, or your LEGOS, or your mouse and a copy of PhotoShop) and show us your best rendition of a Renaissance style portrait of your character!
Here are the guidelines:
• Mimic a Renaissance-style portrait, such as the Mona Lisa. (For information about Renaissance paintings, why not start with Wikipedia?)
• Create your portrait using any type of medium.
• Match the style of the period, not necessarily the specific abilities of the artists.
• Your portrait should only include the top half of your character.
• Write your in-game character name and server legibly on the painting or on a piece of paper next to your submission.
• Email your portrait and your in-game character name and server with the subject Renaissance Portrait to .
Multiple submissions, plagiarism, and any inappropriate content submitted (in the opinions of the judges) will be grounds for disqualification.
The event will run from March 29th to April 15th. Five winners will be selected to receive a Mabinogi Shakespeare Mousepad.

Just a mousepad? Meh.
Drawing takes so long.. not really worth just a mousepad.

Lousy incentives for too much work.
Throw in some Nx and maybe people will reconsider.

The inventory pet still took some work.
All the contests are optional anyway.

777k for some, friends and time for most. Not so much work.
And you guys are acting like they're asking for the Mona Lisa, you goddamn know well that nexon rarely takes into account the quality of your works in these contests.

Still isn't worth peanuts (mousepad).
For a challenging contest like this, the rewards could have been way better.
Like say, a goodie bag with the mousepad with some other Nexon goodies. But not the mousepad alone.

Lol Sinned.
Not cool when we talk about the earlier years. :(
That was true art.. naked was okay in art back then. It still might be considered, but it's rude to think and laugh about it these days.

Nexon has been getting worse and worse with these events.
Crappy rewards for too much effort.
The BINGO event wasn't too bad...but then you say that's the Mabinogi Anniversary Event?!
Seriously now nexon! You are really stinking up Mabinogi lately.
