  People who feel special when they get a new, rare item for wich they paid an extraordinary sum of wealth, and when said item becomes more common they trash it and treat it worse than freaking garbage.
  It's fine that you guys spend your gold or real money on said items, but you have to realize that eventually all items (save for the limited edition ones) become more and more common.

  I understand that items do become more common as time goes by, but doesn't it just seem 10x more uncool to have a rare gacha item just be released...then bring out a gacha RIGHT after that makes it common?

  From a business point of view, nope. Nexon knows their market, they know the gacha addicted will spam gacha.
  From a player's point of view, nope. It means more people get a shot at those gacha items, and it adds variety to people's wardrobes for those who care.
  
  So nope, I can see where you're coming from but I don't share your views. In the end it was your friend's decision to spend all that money, just like it was mine to buy the last batch of tix i needed for the pet. We're both digging our heads in shame or rage for having wasted all that money, but there's nothing we can do now.
