Upgrading Drivers?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. It depends on what you want to upgrade, and what method the driver manufacturer makes available. :o You should provide more info.
Generally, it's considered good practice to uninstall the old driver and its accompanying software before you install the new one. This is most commonly done when updating graphics card drivers.

Haha, we have the same graphics chip. No point in upgrading the drivers if you play solely Mabi and more older-ish games. If you want to upgrade your drivers though, download the drivers from the nVidia site, uninstall your current drivers, and then install the new drivers. Be sure to crate a restore point on your computer to a point before you uninstall your previous drivers just in case shizz happens.

I plan on playing Atlantica and hopefully solving a few Sims 3 problems...so I kinda have to....:3

If you want to do that you should just get a newer graphics card, if affordable.
