Weird eye-candy bug

Logged off my Evie to switch to my Lann and when I entered my information and hit enter, it sent me directly to what you see on this picture.
Had same stats/skills/quests as my Evie just that inventory and npc dialogue, and boats didn't load.

I've had something similar happen. I hopped on a boat and glitched like this, then the leader called me a hacker and kicked me. -_-

I've had something like the opposite of this before. I was part of a party that started a No Armor Oath. I got into the boat and everyone was in their underwear but me. I still looked like I was in full armor. Someone joined the boat and called me an idiot for not taking off my armor. We completed the oath with no problems but with plenty of chastity belt and steel panties jokes to go around.

That's also happened to me, though no one said anything about it. :o

I don't see how that could happen. As the character's name suggests you are not connected when this glitch happens, though I've heard of other problems involving connection issues during character creation that left people with a character much like this, with no starting items or skills (such that they were broken and had to remake the character, eventually).

It's just an unconnected glitch where your connections didn't go through properly, this can also be forced on most multiplayer source games.

This is only a visual glitch.
I had this happen to me but when I checked my armor status, everything was off.
