Mabi Launcher and Flash

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Okay this has started to get on my nerves. The root of the problem is bloody Adobe and IE which as usual have been ever SOOO helpful....

NOT!

When I open the mabi launcher I get that popup asking me to install adobe flash 10.2 which is currently broken in my IE unfournatly. If I launch Maplestory this annoying thing pops up 3 times which is 3x as annoying.

Anyone experience this kind of issue and have a fix for it?

Control panel - Add remove programs => Un-install Adobe 10.2 and re-install it.

(Don't forget to remove the appropriate add-on's in your browser)

Hm, thanks. I'll try that later. Only concern I have is that I have the Adobe CS3 Suite which I use from time to time.

Specifically I use Fireworks and Flash CS3 a lot of the time for various projects and editing of in game screenshots.

Will uninstalling that affect those programs?

I only ask, because last time I had a problem with those programs. I had to uninstall EVERYTHING and delete EVERYTHING that had any hint of Adobe in it

BTW, just use firefox or chrome. Their flash won't be broken.

Problem with that is that Mabi Launcher SPECIFICALLY uses IE.

How can I force the Mabi Launcher to use Chrome instead of stupid IE?

My Default Browser is Chrome. I think Nexon has it coded in the mabi launcher and the cash/item shop to use IE. I'm not sure on IE being up to date. I haven't touched it since I got it. Only time I use it is because Mabi uses it for their webshop and what not

Ya, I use automatic updates. I'll try seeing if there's a more up to date IE and see if that fixes the problem.

As it is, everytime I keep trying to install Flash in IE I get "Cannot Register ActiveX"
