Yeah so once I do barri this saturday, I move onto G9 final. I'm a little worried about claimh...
See, I get all this advice about smashmilling, but I'm an archer. I know how to fight melee well, but my damage is.... Well. Let's just say I can't smash past a 200 with a broad or glad without a crit. And with claimh's defense, I'm scared ><. Advice?
R7 Magnum
r1 Range
rC AR
140 Dex
Damage range 58-105
CM r5, if it matters anyways.
I know to bring at least 20 feathers, like 40 hp 30s and like 50 stam 30s.

He's really not that hard.
Besides, since you can go with a full party you can have other people fight close up and you can spam arrows at a safe distance.
He doesn't really attack that often in the first place.

QFT
Claimh might seem intimidating, but he's like your dragon field boss, except a lot easier.
Just sit back, enjoy his music, and spam AR like no tomorrow, and let your party members do the work =)

if everyone smash mill it, it wont really do anything. i suggest most people melee when he is at 2nd and 3rd phase cause that way he uses his flying swords less often (or not at all if done well by everyone).

Windmill spam with 4~5+ people can easily clear him without anyone dying.

My guild and I have spammed melee blows and wm on Claimh (adv) to death before. Though we were trans'ed and crit-ing like crazy.
Claimh isn't necessarily intimidating, just don't stand in front of him when he uses life drain and remember that his sword launch trick will possibly hit you and use mana shield to deflect as much damage as you can. And you're probably fine with just magnuming and shooting AR while party members smash/wm it.

Claimh isn't extremely difficult, just avoid getting in standing in front of him if possible and wm spam.
Don't watch the clip when you have to summon Adinel because your party members who skipped it have to face the invincible boss until you finish watching.

I soloed Claim the week Alexinas servers went crazy...on hard mode......its was incredible. He charged lazer 6 times in 10 seconds and charged me 3 times back to back while summoning 35 cows. I beat the mission with like 1 min left to go. The most epic battle I have ever done.
Claim now seems very easy when I go with others.

Cows? You mean Glas?
@OP: You can't windmill through its ground pound, so pot up or hit mana shield if you're stuck near it while it does it.
If it charges those swords, get on a mount and run away from whoever its facing.
Smashmill works better than AR/Magnum spam with low dex, a lot safer too.
