I very rarely draw chibis because I actually find them more difficult to draw than "normal" drawings...so I decided to try again yesterday/today and here's how they turned out!

The first one is of my mabi character and the second one is my friend's Evie. These are also the first "completed" drawings I've done using a tablet (since I usually draw mine on paper, scan, and lineart using the pen tool in Photoshop). For some reason, my chibis on paper look a lot worse and I have no idea why, heh.

I've been trying to draw chibis, but I failed every time for some reason... I'm thinking it's because of the proportion stuff, but do you think you can give me a few pointers?

@Chihaya: Oh, I meant my chibis on paper (when I sketch with a pencil) look horrible compared to my tablet versions and I have no idea why, haha. And this is the first time I've really seriously tried to draw chibis, so I don't really think I'm fit to give any pointers. :x The only one I can say is...all the girl chibis have flat chests! I tried to draw busty chibi and it looked so strange lol.

@Cynic: Yeah, I think most people probably find chibis easier. I just find them harder because I never draw chibis, so it's lack of practice I think.

@Otto: Huh, I've never seen CLAMP chibis before. I guess that's a good thing though. CLAMP has pretty art!

Well not chibis specifically, you just remind me of CLAMP in general :D
The softness gives off an "old manga" feel to me~ it's a good thing. I dont see it enough â™¥

Ohh, yeah, I really like the soft, "watercolor"-ish style coloring. =D

Just finished a new one! I spent a little longer on this one and I think it turned out better than the other two. It's of one of my RP characters. And they're all facing to the left because I'm a lot better at drawing at that angle than any other angle, haha.

I would so buy one of your chibis if you ever made an art shop. They're so adorable. >w<

Aw, I'd love to make an art shop, but I'm worried that people won't be willing to pay the prices I want for my chibis, which is why I haven't. (they don't exactly take very little time you see T_T)
