I was wondering if I should keep my Principle Darkness(+13 max + 5 dex so its 15 max) or get an Ancient Darkness Armor.
with an Ancient Darkness +27 dmg armor Ill have 20 More max damage and I still have 100% crit (Ancient Darkness is +20 Luck = 4% crit / with Seduced a Succubus title that's 35 dmg and 8% crit)
with the Principle Darkness I'll have 110% crit.
I have about 300 max dmg with my Principle Darkness so I'll have 320 max dmg with Ancient Darkness.
Should I keep my 110% crit or go with 100% crit and 20 more dmg?
Thanks in advance^^

I say go ancient darkness.
It's less niche use than principle's...so you won't regret making it.

if it were me, i'd be going with damage if you already have that much crit.

I'm not satisfied with Crit or Damage :S

Then go damage, your crit will only apply about 30% of the time (player tested on foreign servers), no matter what your crit is.

Well, where are you usually training? What dungeons do you usually run? Do you usually fight monsters with 40+ prot? I think those are important to factor in, rather than just a blind assessment of damage vs crit (both of which are quite impressive).

Defeat Fomor Commander II , Defeat the Shadow Warrior , The Stones of Sliab Cuilin Hard. That's all I do right now 'cause I don't run dungeons anymore :S

Well, it looks like the only monster that'll give you trouble then, in terms of critting it, would be the shadow warrior if you choose to change armors. In hardmode, it has 39% protection so your effective crit rate would go from 30% to 22%. It doesn't seem like a bad exchange to me, since you get the extra damage and still have max crit on the other spawns. Kind of surprising actually, I thought the other monsters had higher prot, haha.

Well I can't really change the armor often 'cause I have to change titles too

Just Keep it if you are not short of golds.

Oh I meant if you switch, you'd be stuck with the 22% rate for the warriors but would still have max on the others. I wasn't suggesting that you switch armors because that would be sort of impractical. I don't see a way around the decreased crit rate. You could always forgo the succubus title and use the connected title? Although that would drop you 8 damage while only adding 4 crit. I'm sure there's an acceptable middle ground somewhere if you play with titles and accessories too.

Ancient Darkness is win.
Alternatively to Seduced the Succubus you could use ambidextrous, what's the enchant on your bow? Cyprus Palm Tree or something?

I'd go for the Ancient Darkness. The two highest protection monsters in Tailteann Missions are Shadow Warriors with 40% and Lancers with 35% requiring 110% and 100% for capped critical, respectively. Though it may look like 110% is the ideal route to critical everything, consider two things; Shadow Warriors only appear regularly in a few missions, and G10 coming up. Most missions in G10 have monsters, on hard, with no more than 30% protection only asking for 90% critical for capped rate. And you will be doing those missions more frequently, if you solo. Offering is still the best in terms of party play but I always assumed you were a solo player.
The biggest problem is the money. A full damage Ancient Darkness flies for 30mil in Mari. That's like 80% of my gold, and I'm stingy as hell. Also, the humiliating flops the scrolls roll out.

Ancient Darkness all the way for the end-game damage set.

I don't really solo often :o Actually I never do except I have to lvl and nobody is online :S I usually run Missions with my hubby and random friends that are online.
I know about the huge cost but I could care less about money well I'm gonna make an Ancient Darkness Armor myself or buy one after maxing stats on my ego.
