This sparked a bit of attention when I heard the following:
"Okay, Internet Bullying doesn't exist. All you do is delete+block the retarded troll. Whoever saying that they were internet bullied are just dumb."
Before hearing that, I just had a brainwashed notion of "internet bullying is bad."
Now I'm thinking that people should just learn to deal with trolls. What do you guys think?

What if the bullying extends to real life?
There are such cases, where the bullying online is an extension of the bullying offline.

Then you report the person that bullies you in real life and online to the police

for the bully to come outside into real life, he has to be a pedo right?
if its schoolmates, then its just plain old bullying.

both eletronic and verbal, words have terrible impact.
nothing you can do except be aware of the signs and deal with it appropriately. blaming the victim is not the way to go though, as easy as it always is.

Personally, I learned not to give a crap since I was a kid. OH NO NOT TEH INTERNET BULLYING. Get over it.
Now if it extends to real life? That is serious. Otherwise, though.. you shouldn't care unless it's someone close to you saying it.

Like with many other things, the net makes bullying easier and more convenient. :P Yeah, in theory, you could tell the victim that they could solve their problem by deleting the offending person. But the problem with that is that kids, especially those with little social interaction in real life, will form bonds online that they can't easily break. Think of all the people who appear to be relying on this very forum for their social interactions. They're all very affected by what goes on here. Think April Fools. XD
All of this in addition to the previously mentioned "it can extend to real-life" deal.

Internet bullying is something made up by the thousands of insecure kids who spend their entire lives on the internet and the moms who enable them. Sure there is physical bullying where damage can be done and face to face contact is often more unnerving, but in case you forgot THIS IS THE FREAKIN INTERNET.
In most places where people get "cyber bullied" I can cast a level 9001 spell of "Shut the hell up." Nothing means anything serious on the internet, and if you are getting bad mouthed by somebody..........
who you don't even know...........
won't get to know.......
probably can't even see........
in some cases can't even hear their actual voices.......
will never see again after he gets done trolololing you.....
and is as significant in your life as the ant that you didn't even notice on the ground when you walked to school this morning.
and your getting insecure over THAT?
There is only one thing I can even say to these people, "Give me one good reason why you give a shxt."
That will be all.
/endrant
Of course if its like facebook or something then its different because it CAN have an impact on your life, but people seem to forget that its not any different than talking to someone face to face except that news spreads faster.

Trolling is fun, that's all I'm going to say about that.
I hate it when people ignore/block me |:<
I only consider bullying if they bully knows you in real life and goes to your school or something like that.

I can already tell you that everyone here, including me, on nation can't say they were never bullied/never bullied anyone anyone else.
The thing is, there was a recent episode of a show my parents and I were watching. There was this girl who was pregnant with the homecoming kings child and she was bullied to the extent of suicide. The whole thing started when the homecoming queen thought she stole her boyfriend. So she proceeded to create a website about the poor girl and then edited a video about her. Soon after she was emailed and texted being told she sucked and that she should die.
That doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen enough that people shouldn't just ignore internet bullying. Personally, I'd check up on the person every now and again and see how they are and reassure them that they don't deserve whatever crap the bully is giving them.

Bullying is bullying, it doesnt matter if it's online or not. Like mama said, words have an impact on people.
Yeah, everyone should learn how to deal with trolls. But there's a difference between trolling someone to amuse yourself and harassing them to the point of emotional abuse.
As far as the "Its just the internet" argument, **** that. Just because you're using a computer doesnt mean you arent talking to another human being. The internet isnt an excuse to be an asshat

I can say that i've never been bullied, nor have i ever bullied anyone. Online, or off.

Are you absolutely sure?
Unless you have a very good memory, you can't say you weren't bullied as a child.

I was never bullied nor do I bully.
But I do harass people online, if it counts.
