In the abb house ch i just noticed that time is off by 2mins which is pretty odd.

Edit-btw this is happening in Ruairi sever.

Have not noticed, but then again I only look at the time when I need a gate/tunnel, part time job, or pally-time.

Ok so ch1 and the house chs time but the rest seems to be out of order, is this related to the ch1 crash?

If the time is off synch, and there's some kind of scheduled thing going on, it very well can be related. Nexon runs on windows server, not a good idea.

I think I noticed this as well. I initially thought it was my imagination however. It was 5am on Ch6 and when I went to Ch1 it was 3am.

It's really screwing with the guildwide 'trans' calls.
I'm better it's related to ch1 crashing, though one would think the maint would have evened that out.

Ch1 crashing may have been the cause of all of this but i don;t recall either ch1 crashing or the house ch.
I guess i didn;t notice it.

ch1 and housing are on the same server, so if time is off on one, it's off on the other. Does housing also crash when ch1 crashes?
if yes, it's that simple.
if not, then there's something related to non-housing channels that happens once a week, and when the time is off, boom.
Maints don't fix that if they don't know it's broken. nexon being nexon... give it a few more weeks. Or maybe they should come visit this thread.
Hi nexon:hi:

Alexina has always been off exactly 6 in game mins (if using a min clock mod)

Osayidan wrote on 2010-05-20 23:26
6 game minutes is not very much, but I think in ruairi it's 2 real minutes? when it comes to windows server, if the time is off by too much, you get problems with communication between servers. The game time is based on system time, so while the game time itself might not be a technical issue, the server (actual machine) time being off can lead to problems.

I wounder if that's related to people losing their items on ch1 since time is so screwed up.
Also there is a HUGE different between modded client time and the acutal game ch, the ch's time being important if something goes wrong with the sever which makes me thin about the sudden lost of items if you go ch1.

Nah, people are losing items because of the sudden ch1 crashes. Character data is saved upon channel change/log on, while pet data is saved after each desummon. So if you take an item out of your pet's inventory, unsummon it, and then the channel crashes, your item will disappear because your current character state (with inventory) was not saved, while your pet's was. ...So pretty sure it doesn't have to do with modded client time. But maybe this weird desync is causing server instability and that, in turn, is causing the crashes? *shrugs*

The modded client has nothing to do with the item lose.
The crashes may have caused this time to desync.

Yeah, Ruairi times are quite off.
Like someone said earlier, it kinda screws up guild trans calls.
