Don't even know how I got this thing, but it's annoying the hell out of me. Basically keeps saying everything's infected when I'm pretty sure it isn't (Besides, I'm sure that scans don't take 10 seconds to be fully complete). I should really pay more attention to things, since it started going off a few minutes after I downloaded something and was viewing stuff on the internet with firefox.
So yeah, in the process of attempting to eliminate it now, just hoping it doesn't become too much of a problem to end up using the failsafe. Although all I have going for me is Malwarebytes scanning my computer and googling how to get rid of it.
Any further help would be appreciated, but in the mean time I'm rushing to do what I can as of now.

The problem with the program is that it updates too fast. A lot of google results were just outdated. I didn't know how to remove the program in another computer that was infected, and I just reformat everything. I tried deleting register keys for the program that I can find, but it just keeps coming back.

Eh, so far one of the solutions I found seems to be working out.
This is the one I'm using despite being nearly a year old. (At least after using that RKill program I got rid of all the annoying "warnings" and etc.)
Just to be clear, this thing doesn't do anything besides annoy the crap out of me and tell me to buy fake merchandise while blocking my access to the internet right? It sure doesn't seem to be doing a good job of infecting seeing as how I used steam to bypass it and get access to internet again.

Yea, I think it just really annoys you, and blocks a lot of the stuff. At least, that is what I seen it do.

I had this problem earlier, except with XP. It also disables your actual anti-virus program and firewall to allow more programs like it on orz; I found that out when I digged around my registry and found those commands. I think it also keeps your anti-virus from updating.
I don't know how Vista works, but basically what I did was go into safe mode, keep task manager open so I can end the process when it starts up, and run "regedit" to find the keys and delete them. However, I think yours might be different, depending on what the .exe file is called when it starts up. If you tell me what it's called, I could help o.o; or try, anyway lol

Well I guess I took a good cat nap earlier since the scan was taking so long. Removed 14 malicious items and etc. using malwarebytes. Guess I'll just make sure it's completely gone before I go to bed now. I didn't really need to restart in safe mode since I was somehow able to access the internet despite the virus previously blocking me, but I guess I might have been able to get rid of it quicker if I did (Eh, or at least that's a hunch since when I tried using task manager to delete the processes it didn't appear in the list, that or it was masquerading as a different name). :/

Ah o: Well at least you were able to find it with the malwarebytes. Hopefully, that got it to stop running.
When I had mine, I had to get rid of it manually since anti-virus programs and stuff couldn't find it. But thanks to Trend notifying me about it, I was able to find out what it was actually called and where it was at.
