Red LED on case...

So, uh... I have a red LED on my computer case either staying on or flickering on. It's below my power/reset buttons. There's a little icon by it that looks like a cylinder of some sort, and there's another LED next to it that isn't lit that looks like a light bulb.

I've never seen this light on before, and... I'm wondering what it means. The user manual doesn't even mention the buttons or lights on the case.

On that pic, the blue one is lit up red and the red one isn't lit up at all. Mine's slightly different, but that's the same kind if icon thingy. It's like a cylinder or battery or something. I'm not sure what it means.

edit: Thermaltake told me "This is HDD activity LED." hmm... what could that mean? o_O

HDD activity LED means a LED lightbulb that turns on when your Hard Disk Drive is being access either for writing or reading purposes.

If you never saw that light on before it probably just wan't plugged in before you changed the motherboard.
There should be a couple of wires that lead up to those lights that plug into the bottom corner of the board, some of them are for HDD activity. If you only have one drive it can be useful to tell you whe nthere is activity, but if you have multiple drives it becomes useless because it won't tell you which one...

If the other one isn't on, it probably means you didn't plug in the one that shows when the PC is on.

None of those are vital, only one that truly matters is the power on switch, which is plugged in well since you can turn on your PC.
