So, whenever I try to start mabi NOW, I get this error: ERROR CODE = -30 The game cannot be started. Please check all files and try again. (5) .../P:NP12:autho05:84:17031204:2kpYY~Q5twsPPx8...
I originally was getting that 0x0000005 error. I tried deleting, and re-installing mabi and I got rid of my mods. After I re-installed, I continue to get that Error Code crap. I have absolutely no idea what to do. I tried restarting the computer, but that failed as well. Help? :T_T:

If you're using Windows Vista, you could try the option of "running as administrator"~

I'm using windows 7, I tried that but it didn't work.... My situation is, I downloaded and installed no problem, when I click on it it takes me to the start sight, once again no problem, but when I start it up it gives me error code -30... I don't have my antivirus or firewall on when I do the entire process either...

Hmm... =(
That's strange... did it just begin after the patch?

It's actually my first time trying to install it, well I've tried several times, but all of them with the current patch/update....

Have you tried Reinstalling? If not do so. It won't take long if you have the setup.exe for mabinogi in your desktop. The problem could be that your installation corrupted a bit so try running as admin when you use the mabinogi setup.exe . If it still doesn't work then you should restart your computer if you haven't done so.

I've tried all that...

If you're desperate to play Mabinogi then there is always the option to reformat and see if that works. However make sure you clearly read what i said about the setup.exe in the desktop. Make sure you run it as admin when you install. If it doesn't work like you said then i have no clue. Also have you tried seeing if your firewall or antivirus blocked it if you have one?
What anti-virus program are you using?

I use Norton 360, but I turned it off during the entire process from downloading to trying to start it up.

Yeah. I assumed you were using something like Norton. Norton anti virus program are known for causing problems for games and other stuff so i'm not surprised if it was caused by Norton even if it was turned off. It's not very dependable AV.. it's a bloatware like other crap. Before i continue about this...
(1.) If you decide to keep Norton then check something for me.
Does Norton have its own firewall? If so.. when you turned off Norton 360 did you make sure that the firewall is turned off too? If you managed to turn it off (if it has one) then try starting up Mabinogi or reinstall it. - Make sure to also do the "Run Admin" step.
(2.) If you decide to uninstall Norton then do it. After that, try to start up Mabinogi and if it doesn't work reinstall and try again.
Make sure you also do the "Run Admin" steps too so don't forget.
If none of these work you can try googling for answers or ask the nexon forum itself and you'll probably get some helpful answers. If it all fails there is always reformatting but that's last resort if you're eager to really play.
