I play Gmod for SPACEBUILD. Omnomnom Life Support and scripted space vehicle components. And interplanetary build maps. Delicious package.
I always wanted to try Spacebuild, but Australia has no Spacebuild servers. :\
Instead I hang out on Parkour server/Trouble in Terrorist Town servers ;~;

SpaceBuild's awesomeness cannot be contained on one page. The only quibble I have is that Gmod saves don't retain life support information so any contraptions created have to be saved in Advanced Duplicator and respawned upon reload, but that should be fixed soon.
Traveling to other planets is always cool, and building space platforms with real life support, working docking clamps, etc. is the bomb. Get SpaceBuild just for single player mode, it's addicting by itself although much more fun multiplayer.

What I do hate is when all the stuffs I should be able to see turns out as ERROR.
Pisses me right off.

I would like to play around with Gmod, but sadly, don't have it for steam.

Follow simple directions and enjoy.
SVN is basically an inactive link between a folder on your PC and a folder somewhere on an Internet server. You can tell SVN to check for updates to the Internet location, and if there are changes, new files, etc., SVN automatically updates your local folder to match. This way you always have the most up-to-date versions of everything.

Presumely, if Mabi Heroes is running off the SOURCE engine, couldn't we just rip the models off from there and use it?
