I completed my great successes for Rank C today, and I'm left with Plate Gloves. Should I keep them or just feed to ego? In any case there is nobody selling this and I doubt there is a demand for this.
What should I also do with the other items that I get from Blacksmithing up to Rank 9?

If possible, see if you can fragment them. You shouldn't have any Spika boots since you supposed to save all your leather, make the other stuff.
If it isn't possible to fragment them, just feed to ego.
You can try putting it in house really cheap to see if anyone actually wants them. I highly doubt it though.

Interesting skill. Unfortunately I can't fragment them with my current fragmentation level (rank F).
I'll find a way to keep the items to fragment next time. It's better than feeding to ego.

Do you have friends with high fragmentation ranks? Ask them to test it out before actually ranking it.

I was wondering this too D: after potion making and weaving, I want to do blacksmith to r9 and cap it there. But nothing you make up to r9 sells except maybe dragon crests, though I'm not sure if those are even worth making. If fragment works on at least some of the stuff then it will make ranking a lot better. I plan to use it on weaving anyways since it works on pretty much everything.

Nope. The description of the item with fragmentation tab clearly states that fragmentation has to be of a higher rank before you can fragment it.
However, I can fragment things like wound recovery at Rank F. 40%.
This skill can prove to be useful, but I don't have enough AP to rank it anyway.
Doesn't hurt to just keep the blacksmithing products. I can keep creating new accounts to store up.

I just read the ranking requirements for it and it does say you have to fragment blacksmithing items of a certain rank. However on the list of items that can be fragmented, not a single blacksmith item is there D:
I don't know if it's just not up to date or if there's something weird going on.

The wiki is always out of date. I remember asking someone whether you can fragment things like light melka and you can. However, you cannot fragment anything that can also be bought at the npc, like broadswords, even if you make them through blacksmithing. I guess I'll have to confirm that if I rank up fragmentation.
