Because this forum doesn't seem to have server specific forums, I'll have to do it this way :p
I caved, guys. People have been walking up to me and asking me about it every day since the last one. Even though I said i wouldn't do it anymore, couldn't afford it, didn't have the time, popular demand and my own OCD habits about continuing good events have made it happen. That and I don't know if you guys noticed but the last event I did was rushed, cramped for time, and dissatisfied most the staff at the time.
So.... The 5th Tarlach Fair will be happening on July 30ith.
Currently I have a bare bones staff for a couple areas, but not enough to cover everything I'd like to see happen. I'll be looking for capable volunteers to help with the events or think up new ideas to try out while we've got so many people around.
Our current setup of events that I've gotten people to cover are; Duelist PVP (Popular demand, I wasn't going to continue this originally), Arena PVP (Again, popular demand, and the reactions to last year's prizes were awesome), Bard Off (Because the fair was basically built around this event), I-Scream (I don't know what else to call it, the dungeon run full of ice mines got good feedback), and a Race attempt I'm working up for this event specifically. Fishing for fist fulls of gems will probably also make a comeback.
I am open to new ideas, old ideas, people willing to stand around with party signs over their heads, donations of all sizes, and, finally, your participation on the day of the event. We've had a lot of good times since December 2009 when the fairs first started and I'm always happy to meet new people I probably would've never seen int he first place.
The only thing I regret this year is not having the personal funding to go out and do a Mari fair, an Alexina Fair and a Ruairi Fair. Your communities have asked about it on multiple occasions, but I haven't been able to scrape together the $200 I'd need to make enough characters and pets to handle everything on your respective servers. Many of you have stepped forward and tried to take the reigns on the event for your own communities but things have either backfired or fallen apart without extreme selflessness and dedication. A lot of you just don't have the time with school or being in odd time zones, but I was glad to hear so many people were willing to try.
Mabinogi is still my #1 game, and I love every one of you, even the trolls. :p
Here's to another great year in Mabinogi.
I'll make another formal flyer type announcement int he appropriate section of the forums when we're ready to mass advertise. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

Spook, I'm helping to put together the Alexina Fair, but this one is about two months after ours. So I'd be happy to assist on my Tarlach elf. I added you on my Alexina character, did you ever get the add?

I guess it's convenient that I never bothered to take off the old graphic from the front page. Though it mentions the times on it.

I was just a spectator in the last fair, it was fun chilling with Nalgor.

Sorry to peeps watching out for news on this event, I was unexpectedly out for a week. Work on the event should resume tomorrow.
I'll see what I can do about getting you a better general graphic, Osa.

Or, my family will hit on several medical issues at once and I'll wonder if I can run the fair at all when I'm informed I'll need at least one root canal. >_<
On the other hand, theres an Alexina Fair in the works so at the very least, SOMEone will be hosting an event on the 30th of july, heh..

This is a formal apology to all of Tarlach; I will not be running a fair on July 30th and have come to a point where I'm considering flat out retiring from Mabi all together. It's been a good run, but people start excessively hacking and causing us to lose all our props, many prizes gathered and the trolls willing to spend hundreds of dollars in bugles just to attack people and ruin an event it took 3 or more months to prepare in advance just shows me how really immature people are. It shows me that even for all the good our community tries to put out there, people abusing their wallets and coding to make the rest of us suffer for enjoying ourselves will always win.
I will provide my guild with NX to keep it running, but I just cant bring myself to play hardcore Mabi anymore. It's been fun, Tarlach. Have a good year.

I have been requested to slightly change my statement to include the fact that Zabuden and Loveforlife have been working on taking over the Tarlach Fair and I only found out about this when this message was posted and some people in my guild freaked out about it.
For clarification, SPOOKLEE is withdrawing from the Fair, I'm too exhausted from IRL all the time to keep putting effort into this without pay. Other people have stepped up to take the mantle in my place.
