So playing Vindictus on the lowest possible graphics is getting kind of annoying. I'm level 56 and yet to even see the graphic potential this has.
The first problem is the game doesn't support multicore, and I have a Intel Core i5 CPU (Which is either 2 or 4 - I think 4 cores).
I decided my best option was to overclock my GPU. However, none of the programs I used could even locate my card. And then I was embarrassed to find out that I have an integrated graphics card.
SO I decided to do some shopping around. I can't afford to spend toooo much money, but I'm sort of digging the Radeon HD 5670. It's under $100 and seems to work pretty well. It's PCIe which I'm assuming my computer has, as it's not too old a computer.
My questions are:
1) Is the Radeon HD 5670 good enough to make a significant difference over some generic integrated Intel GPU?
2) Is the Radeon HD 5670 a good choice or should I choose something else?
3) Is the Radeon HD 5670 overclockable, and should I even consider overclocking my new GPU? I'm not too worried about losing 5 years from its life or whatever.
Thanks in advance!!

1) Yes, definitely
2) Pretty good. If you want more choices look
here.
3) Yup, according to a few reviews.
If it's an i5, then your motherboard will have a PCIe slot.

Don't use an ATI anything. Their drives suck. Get NVidia.

Don't worry TA. The ATI brand is gone now. Everything is consolidated under AMD ;)

As much as I like Radeon cards, the drivers do suck ass like TA said.
It really blows chunks.

I've had a Radeon HD 5770 since those came out (around 1.5 years ago?) and the drivers never sucked. ATI used to have crappy drivers, but that was a long time ago and doesn't apply anymore, unless you're an NVIDIA fan. I had a NVIDIA card before, and I did like its driver control panel more, because it had a nice feature where you could calibrate the colours for your monitor.. that's about it. While NVIDIA has a slight advantage on the software side, they have a big disadvantage in hardware.
So yes, go with the 5670. But don't overclock it. If you do, you won't have to worry about "losing 5 years from its life," because it probably won't live that long. :(
Oh and... did you check if the computer's power supply can handle a 5670?
PS. Vindictus should support multi-core optimizations on your comp. I have a first generation Core 2 Duo E6600 and it supports the multi-core options.
