  Well Blizzard Entertainment seems to be doing fine with thousands on their servers and 25-man raids, even before they had 40-man raids.
  Also Vindictus Servers for the towns and whatnot seem pretty capable to handle alot of people (30+).
  
  Edit: Party and Raid servers on World of Warcraft are seperate servers than the world servers. Also note Blizzard already alot of money to support WoW's servers since they been a company since 1995 (Or before I don't remember).

  Well, the other games for Nexon are played on their servers, not from the host's connection...
  I am guessing that from your response that KR Vindictus still have the connection based on the host as well.

  Servers Getting Ready for the Summer
  
  Summer of 2011 is set to be the biggest ever for Nexon. We are planning for the launch of Dragon Nest, social games, and BIG changes to the Nexon website. And of course, we’re also planning for fantastic updates to our current lineup of games. In anticipation of these additions, we’ll be performing a lot of preparation on the back end to ensure that our servers and hardware are ready for the expected increase in the number of people playing our games. Below is how maintenances will shape up in our build up to the summer months.
  
  Maintenance Plans:
  
  1. Sporadic maintenances occurring outside of the weekly maintenances (usually late Tuesday evenings).
  2. Longer downtimes during weekly maintenances.
  3. Possible downtime for websites as well as games.
  
  We’re hoping to get a lot of the work done early so that the summer season goes smoothly. We’ll do our best to provide as much prior announcement as possible before maintenances occur. In the meantime, we are extremely grateful to our players for your patience. Here’s to a great summer, and thank you for playing Nexon’s games!

  Kr put the same message on their walls, the kr are trying to secretly put it in so that when update comes every1 b like omfgg how come no lag when did server get in? They know the server is comming but they don't know when
  Same withing with NA i have a feeling we are getting this , this summer, yeah we can disown nx Na do to their poor listening skills and a thousand other reasons buh remember, there is a new(well old) dev for the game now and he's the same one that pushed G10-14 to come out so quick for mabinogi (we are now the same with Kr) in NA. So yeah... also you guys didn't see what Nexon Na made Q1 this year? If you have seen how much they made u would be like wdffff how come they not putting this in and that and w.e and with the release of Dragon's Nest coming in months and 2 other social games, they are bound to make more before this is released.
  I hope you now right now for the past month and a half (since Q1 info was released) Nexon staff have been saying GG. When they walk in the company they don't say hi....they smile and say GG :\
