Would there be a possible way to change the title of the thread/name of the thread?
I just got back quite a while ago, and I don't recall if there was an option like that or not...The closest that I've found is like the heading of it that goes below the original name of the thread. D:

Should be able to although there's some kind of built in time limit, I set it to 99999 days but I think it only goes so far. If the thread is too old you need to ask a staff or make a new one.

I'm pretty sure an user can change its own thread title just as a mod can change any. At least I'm pretty sure I used to do it while I was regular user.
Double click on the thread title area while on the thread list.

I did that using the Google Chrome browser, but it only hid the title till I clicked elsewhere.
Edit: Found the place to click, thanks. xD

It's not necessarily making a new one, but changing the title of an old one. o ^ o
A thread thread that was closed, and I reopened it again attempting to change the title.

I don't think it's that many days, since I've had posts from a few months ago that I can't change the title of.

Something wrong with your browser, or with the title being too big and it falls off the CSS boundaries. I just tried with chrome and I don't have any problems though.
When you double click there the thread title becomes an editable text box, the added borders and stuff make it bigger and sometimes messes up with the design, so it moves down where it's less visible.
Clicking elsewhere after activating the editable box accepts the changes (or makes none, if you did none) So it appears to be working, you just don't see it because of a browser problem, CSS problem, or evil magic.

It happens like this... I am able to edit it and click outside of the area to save the changes, it happens to only put loading signs beside it that looks like the image below.
I can only see the box if I actually type.
They seem to have an infinite loading time. >_>;

I tried it with a different browser as well, and it's the same result.

Some javascript issues apparently, I don't know what you could do, since you already tried with another browser, and you have JS enabled, otherwise it wouldn't do a thing when double clicking.
Though changing the first post title should change the thread title, since Osay mentioned he set the time limit to a high value.
If you can't get it done, you can always just ask a mod, or report your own thread with the request, I'm sure no mod would mind to do this for you, takes 5 seconds.

Another Method:
1. Go to your thread.
2. Go to your first post, assuming you are the thread creator.
3. Click the "Edit Post".
4. Click "Go Advance"
5. Very top, change title.
If your thinking "it's just the title for the post...", well, go try it out, I just did to make sure and worked fine on a few Anime threads I've made.
