I am doing a 3minute Spanish project about being a reporter for a news channel.
My partner is so quiet that I cannot understand him most of the time and I think he is gone for the week due to extracurricular activities and this entire project is due next thursday.
If I could get help with this, I can donate 10k mabination gold to the person who helps me the most.
I don't have any questions right now, but I will post some in the near future.
Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering on what you're really asking, like, do you need to make a video of yourself?

Does it mean you have to pretend to be a reporter for a news channel, or is it a documentary of reporters for (Spanish) news channel?
You have to define on the project requirements first before you start working on it.
Also, if the person is really quiet, try and grab his/her phone number and discuss over the phone. I had this classmate who was really quiet in person that I had difficulty understanding, but over the phone the person was somewhat fine.

On a more serious note, do you guys have e-mail/Facebook/etc.? When I got here freshman year they began setting up e-mail accounts on the school's network for all the students in middle and high school, making it SO much easier to communicate with people.

Well I have to report about two made up news.
I am almost done with the script and I'm really looking for how to do special effects or just reviewing over the quality of my video.
btw i think i realized my partner wont be at school for a few days...
@Claudia, I live in Ohio. Hope you are not near that state xP

haha, nowhere close ~
any way you can get in touch with your partner at all? otherwise you may just need to wait.
I don't see why the teacher shouldn't give you an extension, especially because your partner will be away.

I'm not sure of school teacher standards but the best videos tend to capture the attention of the audiences, with/without special effects.
Some teachers may not like funny videos and prefer videos to be straight to the point, so really, I'm not sure.
A tip for your project. Reporters tend to sensationalise news for ratings.
You can add in special effects like how those new flashes go if you know how to do it, I guess.

IMO "special effects" are amateurish. :( Just study how professional news film their videos and try to replicate the same style.

How do I convert .dv files to an extension useable by window movie maker? I tried using VLC media player to convert the file into .mp4, but the sounds were all gone.
I also tried the trial version of vegas pro 8, but that also doesn't accept .dv files...
