Phunkie, you want to know why people troll?
see this:
Online disinhibition effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
most people do not intentionally troll (the effect comes involuntarily and how much it affects people depends on their personality). but when they do, it becomes awfully hard to distinguish it from stupidity (which is the main goal in trolling).
people feel that, because no one can see them and identify them, they can be much more open about their true/random/inappropriate thoughts rather than conform to social norms and moral restrictions.
so you never really know, that may truly be how they think, or not. they just normally don't feel like telling the random thoughts to other people.
we all have random thoughts in our minds, but the internet is the only real place where some feel that they can express any of them, which why we should consider any of these thoughts as much as a grain of salt unless it's verifiable.
don't let others' trivial thoughts affect your rl emotions dude, distract yourself and withdraw if you do somehow get emotionally aroused.

Well, this seems as good a time as ever, if anyone has a problem with me, or disagrees with something I do, or some way I act, or if I did something to contribute to you getting to the point of making this thread, PLEASE, PM me and talk to me, as far as I know I haven't done anything, but if I have I would appreciate feedback.
Thank you very much-Tim

I know I haven't done anything bad. Yet.
But something about this made me think. What is apologizing? Really? Can a few words really solve something like a flame war?
I just see it as some sort of mechanism to get people off my back, but meh.

nor should you get too involved in what others' think of you and bring up (pointless) old conflicts. compared to real life, almost anything on the internet is trivial.

Not trying to be rude but welcome to todays world.
The world we live in is different than it has or ever will be, we live in a world ruled by hate and anger, its the way we are, its in every single persons DNA and there is nothing we can do about it. On top of that it gets worse with every generation that follows. Just watch, in 15 years nice people will cease to exist.
Your gonna see sex on the streets, people are going to be shot in the open, and a safe place won't be there for anyone. What is there to do about it?
Nothing.
No visionary will ever change the world, Obama isn't gonna create world peace. Society will naturally turn into a survival of the fittest. Thats the way it always has been and thats the way it always will be. Thats what we are here for, survive long enough to move onto the next day and raise our offspring to do the same. And I will tell you right now anyone who doesn't look at it that way because its negative are going to die a hell of a lot sooner than the rest of the people on this earth. Thats the problem with this generation. They're so comfy with their lives they're too big of pussies to survive in our world.
The only way you can change the world is survive and lead by example.
The internet is just a foreshadow of things to come, I'm not trying to seem overly dramatic but thats the OP is really posting about.

Contradiction. First you say people are going to get worse, then you say the only way to improve is to learn from mistakes.
Also, by your story, everyone might as well kill themselves now, if your going to die anyway.

lol, life is too fun to simply kill myself off now. Is death going to be better?

I am polite, up until someone starts a fight. Than I'll stand up for myself, because I'm honestly never going to the type to take that kind of trash from someone.
But I still stand by that people must earn respect, just as people must earn your trust. I'm not meaning this as an insult, but I think you're rather naive regarding how most people really are.

I respect everyone, but from there they can get rid of it, and on the other hand if they really prove themselves, I just respect them more, I dont start out not respecting people. It really depends on how you look at it/ your base views of people.
